Get some miso paste and make soup with your veggies next time. An over easy egg on your beans would be a nice addition. Dice a tomato, toss it with your pasta, and bake it for 20 minutes with cheese on top. Put tinfoil under the pasta if you use a metal pan. An Italian seasoning blend wouldn't go astray either. We all gotta start somewhere anon.

I hear that boiling or cooking breaks down their structure, but I have no idea if that's true. I could've boiled my veggies and put cheese and butter and salt but I decided not to.

Cooking vegetables isn't bad. Boiling the shit out of them is bad. Simmering not so much. Steaming is the most healthy way to cook them. Baking is also good. I would suggest finding some way to watch good eats. It's the best cooking show in existence for beginners.
