That's like asking, "why post about what or how you cook or brew beer if you don't get paid or make a profit from it?"

The only difference between an amateur and pro is equipment to ensure consistency, practise that has resulted in producing products under extremely stressfull conditions, and a propensity to brain addled alcoholism and drug addiction. And of course, for some cooks, a self aggrandizing marketing that results in bleating sheep thinking they've had an "artiste" experience of an ephemeral aesthetic.
