How far will a George Forman Grill get me /ck/? I'm no cook, but I felt it'd be a good investment to understand food a little.
Where does it exceed?
Where are it's limits?
It's a grill press.
It makes meat. And sandwiches. Maybe some other stuff if you get creative with it, or use it open-faced, or something like that.
It's not particularly special or good at anything, if you want to learn about cooking, then buy a frying pan and hop to it.
theyre good for these types of lazy fucks

>it makes meat
No it doesn't, it barely even cooks meat let alone making it from scratch

Jack has done more with mayonnaise than you ever will.
They work great for hot dogs and grilled cheese.
They're inferior for most anything else.
I only ever use mine for paninis.

This, but I make burgers sometimes too. I'd never waste a steak on a device that robs your meat of its juices.

Go to your YouTube subreddit and find out.

>it barely even cooks meat let alone making it from scratch
well i wasn't expecting a fucking replicator
it is only good for boneless and uniform cuts. I have a huge one and can cook an entire tray of breast/burgers/pork chops while preparing something else. It's like a clothes iron for food, mostly meats.
My wife uses it to cook chicken breasts ad I used it to press Cuban Sandwiches, the latter being the best use for it.

Don't be scared of it, OP. It's a badly underrated tool.

I use it more for panini's than actually cooking meat.
