I put half a habanero in my stir fry and it was just about at the limit of what I could take. Probably about equal to putting 4 or so serranos in.

They sort of had an uninteresting citrusy taste, I didn't really like it. Maybe next time I'm feeling adventurous I'll try fresh thai chili peppers instead.

But to answer your question OP, I don't know. They're too hot for me to enjoy.

I like making pickles out of them. Takes some of the heat out and keeps the flavor. Plus you have nice spicy vinegar to use.

How do these compare to a cayenne pepper? They are my current favorite.

I use them in soups all the time, they are very hot so be careful if you are new to really hot peppers. I ate them raw with a few things a few times and learnt that if your gonna have them raw on things, slice them very finely. They have like a smokey flavor to me... enjoy.

Are you talking about birds eye chilis? They are the most common in Australia so people here grow up with the heat from them, habaneros are much hotter but have a nice taste.

Yes, birds eye chili peppers. I have some dried ones but dried peppers are shit and barely even hot at all it seems.

Habaneros have a sweet fruity flavor, and are pretty damn spicy. They're popular in salsas made with mangoes. Good on grilled chicken, fish, or just tortilla chips.
