Ok /ck/ i've got about 5 pounds of tomatoes, what can i do with them before they go bad?
i also have, chicken breast, rice, lentils and some canned tuna.
scrambled egg + tomato slices on pita bread for breakfast
BLT for lunch.
chop some up on a salad for supper which will be a T-Bone steak dinner with a baked potato and sour cream.

Large, firm, round tomatoes are great stuffed then baked.
Small, semi-firm, nearly ovular tomatoes are great for salads and other raw applications.
Medium, soft, elongated-shaped tomatoes are best for sauces and soups.
If you have the ones in the OP (large, firm, round), then par-cook some rice, mix it with grated cheese, canned tuna, chopped onion and salt to taste and stuff the tomatoes with this mixture. Bake until cooked through and serve hot. They're nice with fish-flavoured bechamel sauce (steep some dried sardines/anchovies/stockfish in hot milk, strain and use that milk for making the sauce).
