Living is worse, but they're one of the only places that will deliver to me late night who will also leave it on the front porch (shower/water heater is dead, so I haven't taken a shower in over a year). I only order through them or one other place if I run out of food from grocery deliveries (cheap stuff), or more recently when my food freezes (I keep food in a container out on the back porch to keep it away from mice, and it's been -5F for a week or so with snow). The area in the webm was a bedroom, the other being a bit more clean/the one I slept in, but I as of now I sleep out back in my dead car due to tons of aggressive mice.

And aside from myself and a parent, no one has been in this house in nearly fifteen years. Been a shut in for almost a decade, and I'm in my late twenties.

I don't do anything for work, and I can't afford this house. Can't really get work if I can't bathe regularly or have clean clothes. The only reason I'm living in it is because it was my grandmother's house that she never lived in post-remodel and it's already completely paid for.

As for why? Severe depression, some other stuff, and I'm completely unmedicated (would cost hundreds per month with marketplace insurance). Parent can't be fucked, re-married and calls once in awhile to make sure I'm still alive. Called the county/city for help multiple times over the years, and they've told me to fuck off since I'm an unattached working age male every single time. Oh well.

The only real functioning thing in the bathroom is the toilet, though it leaks just like everything else in there. Fixed it the first few times, but it got out of hand once and I never bothered to fix it again (era of fixing->coffee can under the leak->towel on the floor after the can overflowed->now (can't be fucked to do anything). Now there's sludge all over the floor, flooring is warped, and the sink/shower/toilet (where I wash my hands) leak pretty badly.

Also you put a lot of crumbles and germs in your PB when you use it, so to keep it longer it's best to keep it in the fridge. I admit, that if you use a lot of PB it's safe to keep it outside.

Dump is 10 miles or so away, and I have no idea what the monthly trash collection fee is from the city.

Water heater leaked all over, causing a bunch of black mold/melted dry wall, and now the pilot light won't light even if I could get the leaks under control. As for the car, battery is completely flat and it is out of gas. Has been sitting in the same spot for a little over a year.

Cleaning this place up, though? When I asked a professional cleanup company for the low ball right after the water heater exploded, they (and another company) quoted around $10k to clean it up. I'm sure special equipment would be needed to get some of this stuff out of here.
