Wtf is this shit?
>vanilla extract????
>no beans
>eggs???
>ginger??
Seems like some kind of an asian chicken stew
Off the top of my head
Ingredients:
>1lb ground beef
>1 cans of kidney beans (red, black or both, your choice)
>2 red onions
>2 cloves of garlic
>2 bell peppers (I usually go for 1 yellow 1 green, simply because it looks good)
>2 tomatoes
>1 package of tomate frito (or regular tomato sauce but frito has the best flavor imo)
>1-2 cups of beef stock
>2 tablespoons of creme fraiche
>1 tablespoon of honey
>some olive oil
You can just use a packet of chili powder for your spices if you want to make it easy, but I usually use a mix along the lines of:
>4 parts paprika
>4 parts chili pepper
>2 parts black pepper
>2 parts dhania
>2 parts cumin seeds
>1 part thyme
>1 part cinnamon
All ground up/powdered except for the cumin seeds which I like to add whole.
>Cut up the veggies. Don't cut them too fine, somewhere between .5 or 1 inch pieces is best. Cut the garlic as fine as you can get it.
>Get a big pan. One of those big heavy enamel ones is best if you have one.
>Heat up the oil in the pan and throw in the onions and garlic.
>Follow up with the ground beef. Stir it until it stops being pink.
>Add in the tomate frito and beef stock. Keep stirring.
>Add in the beans, veggies and creme fraiche. Stir it.
>Add in spices and honey. Stir that motherfucker.
>Put the lid on and let it sit on a low fire for a while.
>Serve in a bowl with some shredded cheddar on top.
I probably have some of the amounts wrong because I'm writing it down from memory, but that's not really a big issue. You can go in a million different ways with the recipe and it'll still come out with something that tastes good more often than not. You can change the amounts, leave out ingredients, add different ingredients (I like to add some chopped up salami or pepperoni myself). You can make it sweet with carrots and corn, or go all in with the peppers and make it spicy as fuck. It's actually pretty hard to fuck up completely.
