Hey /ck/.
I have to make a 24 page magazine for Editorial Class. I chose to make it about cooking.
So I thought you guys might like to contribute to it and when its finished I can post the PDF for iPad and print.
Currently I have it set up as follows:
1 - Cover
2 and 3 - Double Page Ad
4 - Letter from the editor (Just gonna steal some text)
5 - Index part 1
6 - Index part 2
7 - ad
8 and 9 . Recepie with additional 1 column about whatever
10 and 11 Chef Spotlight/ interview
12 ad
13 and 14 Restaurant Spotlight
15 Kids Cook
16 tru 19 Special feature, 3 recepies.
20 Ad
21 and 22 Cocktail recepies.
23 ad
24 and back cover ad.
So yeah, the sections are kinda malleable and I can pretty much ad anything I want.
Also I don't live in the US yet I'm doing the magazine in English. I can pretty much put anything I want in the text.
/ck/ the magazine? neat-o

Yeah, but I wanted to have some /ck/ inspired stuff rather than just a generic cooking magazine.
Only thing I can think of is memes and vertical recepies

Also, all ads can be removed. If you all so wish.
10 page long cooking with Jack, think interviews, make-it-yourself, chef's tips, cooking tools etc

So, what kind of content are you asking us to provide you with, exactly?
>>7560860
how to clean and reseason that old cast iron pan by hipster joe
>>7561016
Whatever y'all want.
Here is the basic sketch for the magazine. Currently thinking of making it world cusine based if I can't find any content here.
Dishes
Breakfast - English Breakfast
Main course -
Pho
Something Mediterranean
Something Indian
For Kids -
Something Chinese
Cocktails
I dunno yet.
I guess I should have a dessert somewhere...
All the adspace is filler so I don't have to do as much work for the class.

Oh hey, really like this!
I actually think I'm gonna make it a bit more millenial based. That's how tasty got popular anyway.
>>7561016
What recepies would you like to see in a magazine aimed at young people in their 20´s
>>7561029
For the kids, maybe an egg roll?
Also, "don't forget to ask your parents for help!"
>>7561039
Thanks, but I actually think I'm replacing the kids section for desserts as I tighten my demographic.

>Only thing I can think of is memes and vertical recepies
Well that's what you're going to from /ck/.
You could try to adapt some vertical recipes if they fit the format.
Or maybe have a block of text discussing why a meme is or is not correct, or something.
