>peanus butter
Mine

I'm sure there's better out there, but pic related is what I eat.
Smooth. Nuts between bread is fucking stupid.

Why does the most popular peanut butter brand in the US have so many extra ingredients in it?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3HehLKqxsY
You guys are doing it all wrong!
:^)
>>7190469
For stability, texture and taste. There are plenty of peanut butters in the US that are just peanuts and salt though.
Patriarchy approved
This is literally the only PB in my local grocery stores that isn't full of bullshit. Their selection is actually pretty substantial, it's just all PB-icing. I don't want candy for breakfast.
>>7190469 is what I mean
>>7191172
I would honestly order peanut butter online over eating those nasty peanut butters with added sugars and oils.
>>7186972
this
all natural peanut butter is bullshit, its the same amount of calories as normal peanut butter and you have to stir it
>>7191146
>normal peanut butter is greasy
>jams have too much sugar!
wtf is this woman on. does she not realize there's oil in peanuts? and when you make jam you add sugar to it?
>>7191195
>it's the same amount of calories
kek
enjoy your corn syrup solids and partially hydrogenated oils
>>7190469
>>7191172
Corn syrup solids/sugar is the sugar for consistency, originally peanut butter was made with sugar to make it thick. That's how it was patented as anyway. Soy protein is for nutritional value, salt for taste. Vegetable oils so it doesn't separate, same with palm oil. Minerals and vitamins for nutritional value as well.
I don't think you even actually read it, I think you just saw a big list of things and decided it was shitty. It has a bunch of extra vitamins and minerals that you can see right there.
What you should really be looking at is the amount of calories in it. Like this one: >>7191172
http://www.caloriecount.com/calories-j-m-chunky-natural-peanut-i95143
Has more calories in it per 2 tbsp serving than the one you're ragging on, and it doesn't even have extra vitamins and minerals.
>>7191215
see above
>>7191215
>enjoy your sugar and vegetable oils
I do, just not in excess. There is no point to getting "natural" peanut butter when it's literally the same amount of calories as normal peanut butter but you have to stir it. It's not like sugar and vegetable oil are going to make you fat when it's the same amount of calories for both products.
Do you also buy fat free organic Oreos because you think they're healthier for you?
>>7191224
"natural" peanut butter tastes way better and has a more pleasing texture
>>7191230
If that's why you like it better than that is totally fine, taste is a perfectly acceptable reason.
But sperging out about how natural peanut butter is somehow "healthier" for you and then not even reading the label of what is in normal peanut butter or even comparing the calories is just retarded. It's still fucking peanut butter when it comes down to it, it's still full of calories either way and no amount of getting ~*organic*~ "natural" bullshit is going to stop that.
>>7191236
I agree
>>7191218
Oh my god you are a gigantic faggot
>>7191240
Whyzat, chum? Izzit because he kinda proved your entire worldview wrong, and now you're getting all defensive about it because the alternative option is to admit that you're an idiot who buys into scare tactics?
>>7191236
Not that this means your basic point is wrong, but technically peanut oil really is less harmful than vegetable oil. Trans fats are the worst fats.
>>7191157
please delete this man...
>>7185411
>my nigga
Grew up a couple blocks down from this place and every other day you could smell peanut butter in the air.
>>7185249
>peanus
That one actually made me laugh out loud a little.

Holy shit, hipsters getting BTFO right now.
