Why do expensive microwaves have dials?
Do people actually prefer this?
it was me /m/!
I was the one who put the dials on the microwaves
IT WAS ME ALL ALONG!!!
>microwaving anything ever
There is a pleb here. I can smell it..
Because food from dial nob microwaves just tastes better. You should try it.

How else do you heat up leftovers?
>>7138328
In a fucking pot or frying pan. Just add a little liquid of your choice for anything that's meant to be saucy. Microwaves fucking rape food, bro.

It really doesn't, if you don't overheat it.
A whole meal would also take a couple pans (for example, rice, vegetables, and chicken), when you could just put in on a plate, cover it, and microwave it on medium-low power for a few minutes. I don't even know how you would heat up rice in a pot, without maybe turning it into a risotto I guess.

You could make fried rice.

If you're okay with your meal sinking into itself, go for it, bro!
For your example:
Veggies and chicken in in pan, low-medium heat just to get them warm.
Rice in pot, add very little water, just to get it moist and keep it from becoming fried (unless that's your goal).
Stirr a lot.

I don't think waving kills people; I think it kills cuisine. Big difference, plebbet.

Pro-tip: Cover it with a damp paper towel. Traps/adds moisture, stays in place better, doesn't stick to the food as easily.
Works better with bowls v plates though.
