We don't have Popeyes here but I did get to try it ones. Had their "wicked" chicken stuff and it was okay, overly greasy and the chicken tasted weird. Didn't mind the biscuits though.

I don't live at home either so I don't have the big pot of ready oil.

I feel that it kinda differs between stores, when I used to live in London, the kfc near me fucking sucked, the food tasted shit and eating it always gave me diarrhea.

But after moving to basingstoke, it tastes way better and it's cheaper too.

i love me some kfc too. it's a love/hate relationship. every once in a long while i'll go get some and then get real comfy with the toilet. I live in AK and there's one near my house and it's actually good.

Set meals are just to make the customers make up their minds quicker it makes exchanges easier. Its relatively cheaper getting a set meal than buying shit individually

Also never fucking never get a large side by itself always upgrade EVERYTHING

Upgrade dark meat to white meat and whatever

Always ask for thigh instead of wing or drumstick cause they'll never charge for thighs

But I worked in the KFC in Maryland so I'm not sure everywhere else

Where do you live? If you live in the south Zaxby's is pretty good. Bojangles isn't that bad, either.

And while I dislike KFC's chicken (the meat) I like their spice recipe, though it's strong. If I knew the recipe I'd like to try it out on things other than chicken.
