Baby corn is literally the worst

same desu.

I fucking wish I could find it sold frozen somewhere. The cans are shit. The jars are less shit but still shit. Fresh is hard to come by and, when you do find it, you've got to husk it yourself. And it's expensive as all fuck.
For these reasons, I'm considering planting baby corn stalks in my back garden this year.

It's any from a range of corn varieties bread to produce many ears at once. You can pick ears from 'regular' corn varieties and eat them as baby corn, but these regular sorts yield only a handful of ears per stalk and those ears take a while to regrow once picked. Baby varieties grow more ears per stalk and regrow fairly quickly once picked.
Furthermore, regular corn isn't quite as tender, even in its baby stages.
Now help me with my problem: finding frozen baby corn.
