Hey guys, I got a jorb and I'm interested in bringing soup for lunch.
What kind of thermos should I buy? Is there a secret amazing thermos I don't know about?
Suggestions please.

I second this. I personally have the large green classic one and shit stays steaming hot for well over 24hrs

If he's got loose morals, he could surreptitiously swipe a stainless steel stanley at sears.

I also have a couple Stanley's I use for coffee and tea. Pretty much any double walled vacuum flask will work. With cheaper one you mostly run the risk of a shitty seal on the vacuum, which means your food will loose heat faster.
bump because I need soup in 3 days.

Buy a (medical-grade) small lab dewar flask. Shit can keep liquid nitrogen on a bench top quite happily - you'll want to rig up a proper way to seal it (sealing it with liquid nitrogen in is a good way to cause an explosion) and it won't be uber-rugged, but you'll open it and burn your mouth on the first sip every time.
