Very presumptuous post. I'm not even American, I just like my food seasoned appropriately

I've been eating a lot of peanuts lately and I prefer them unsalted. The salted ones are harder to chew on because they've dried out a bit from being out of their shell, while the ones that are still in their shell are much more tender. Plus I get to taste the nut and not simply just tasting salt.

I prefer all of the food that I eat to be unseasoned because I like to taste the food. But I do like to season my coffee with milk.

But salt enhances the flavor of things. Have you ever tried brownies with no salt in them? They are terrible. You don't need to add so much to food that you taste the salt, just a tiny bit.

Salted peanuts are generally extremely salty though and it does overwhelm the peanut flavor.
