sup /ck/
don't mean to *spam* you guys, but here's what I made for dinner
anyways here we go
looked really gross coming out of the can, smelled like cat food
seasoned with a little cayenne, mustard powder, and black pepper
Honestly if you're not making spam musubi or spam fried rice then you can just stop.
frying it up in the ol' cast "meme" iron pan
lookin' good and crispy at this point
tried it with some spicy mustard, was definitely a lot better with some regular tabasco. also, it has a very strange texture inside of it. overall, a 5/10, reminded me strangely of hot dogs.
thank you for your time /ck/, and no I am not from flyover land, I am from maryland
I came into this thread thinking it was a spam tatami mat, now I'm disappointed at the potential weebo energy lost
What's the deal with the little knight saying "Glorious SPAM!" ?
>>7097531
monty python reference probably
>>7097530
>weebo
I like this spelling better desu
I'm used to doing a teri sauce marinade (1:1:1, shoyu, sugar, water) and I realized I haven't ever had spam that wasn't plain or teri.
>not cutting the spam even thinner and making it super crispy
How exactly would you describe the taste and texture of spam?
>>7100630
Texture of cheap ham with a lot of salt.

What is the texture of cheap ham?
>>7100630
Never had it?
It's not that bad. It's really tasty when fried/grilled.
>>7100630
Firm texture and very very salty.
>>7100630
Firm texture, very salty ham. Basically an overseasoned sausage that comes in a can instead of casing.
...you're Filipino, aren't you?
I grew up eating fried spam/hotdogs/corned beef. This thread fills me with so much nostalgia...

Then you didn't watch Monty Python and The Holy Grail.
