I'm a man. I've never been big on sweets even as a kid. Icing on cakes was too sweet for me so most of my birthday cakes were made by my mom and they were lemon pound cake- my favorite. I like baked sweets now in limited quantities. I do enjoy certain candies, but I still don't eat them in large quantities. I don't drink coffee and I only add milk to tea. I prefer soda that is made with real (cane) sugar instead of HFCS. I was never big on soda before I was spoiled with real sugar, which I attribute to my parents limiting us to one can a day when we were kids.

That being said: I LOVE things that are naturally sweet like pineapples, fuji apples, blackberries (sweet and tart), blue berries, etc

When I was younger, I wanted all the candy, but ma said I couldn't have it.

So I told myself that when I got older and my own job, I would buy all the candy.

Yet as I got older, things began to change. Sodas begun to taste more syrupy and gross. Coca cola seems thick with sugar and Sprite began to taste like nothing but sugar water, but I was determined to try all the candy.

So I eventually got a job and begun my quest to try all the candy.
1/3 of the candy I wanted no longer existed. Of the candy left, I found:
Zours->taste of sugar and plastic
Blue Raspberry bubblegum->shit flavor
Warheads->good sour coating, shit hard candy
Rainbow strips->surprisingly bitter
Haribo spaghetti->not that sour
Sourpatch kids->more sweet plastic than sour
Haribo smurfs->a bit plain
