Picked up some nice tortellini. Roast chicken and broccoli, sauteed up some spinach and garlic. Topped that with some gorgonzola and fresh dill.

That's a lovely bowl. A shame about everything else, though.

Looks good man. And healthy, would be happy to eat this.
Didn't take a picture but I'm visiting my based italian grandma and she made aglio e olio with pancetta and some brussels sprouts
>>7047700
did you sear the chicken in a pan first or just roast it in with the broccoli
>>7047734
i reverse seared it to get crispy skin
>>7047700
that is a shit ton of dill, could you even taste anything beneath it, considering they have mild flavors.
salmon and leeks yo
>>7047767
normally i'm not a fan of dill, but i wanted to give it a shot as a finishing touch herb. also i plan on using a bunch to make pickles.
that was a fairly small amount - about the length of one's finger. gorgonzola, chicken, garlic, etc are not exactly mild flavors.
>>7047767
that is actually a pretty small amount of dill
>>7047760
cool thats a sexy meal, good balance for someone trying to lose weight like me
>>7047778
im not a huge fan of cooked salmon but this looks good.
>crispy skin/10
one bump with random lunch pic because it's almost lunch time
First go at smoking ribs over charcoal. Not a fan of wet ribs and too spur of the moment to plan out a rub, so I just put a steak seasoning on them. A bit over 4 hours so far, soon I'll wrap them in foil and add a cider spritz to finish them.
Homemade carnitas mock duck (slow cooked in a broth of soy, ginger, orange, and garlic), braised then stir fried with shallots & peppers. Served over basmati.
First time in a while cooking, been without a kitchen for a couple months. It's really nice, and a decent couple glasses of wine and the new Noragami makes it a nice evening.

I have these bowls. The rice in them looks nicely opaque when you hold them against the light.
>>7051540
one of my favorite things about them. makes me wonder what technique is used in the casting of the bowl to get that effect
>>7050284
Jealous of what? You paid a lot more for what would normally cost $15 because some metal foil was laid on top of it.
thai curry chicken with kimchi and rice
>>7053094
Lol that ain't Thai.
Also no one eats real curry with chopsticks, fuckin weirdo.
I made some chicken and mushroom florentine on penne for dinner tonight. It was pretty tasty and I have a bunch left over for the next couple of days.
Absolutely delicious.

Made some ramen. Pic is before i poured in the broth. Used home-made vegetable stock for the broth/soup. Marinated the eggs for an hour in soy sauce sesame oil worcester sauce, i overcooked them though - still the eggs alone were fuckin amazing, the rest is grilled chicken breast and assorted veggies. Had two helpings.

roasted turkey leg with soy sauce and sherry, deglazed for gravy. mash just came from potato flakes because it's less than a month until exams and I'm dying here.
Didn't have tortillas on hand, so turkey enchilada casserole! I made a crumble for the top out of butter and flour to give it a little more texture.
I'm still working through the leftovers from my test-run turkey earlier this week.
