What are your favorite sandwiches? Bonus points for not using meat.
Over easy egg
Wheat bread or a hamburger bun (depends on how I feel)

Adding a burger to it makes it good too. But I'm a vegetarian (who obviously still eats dairy and eggs) so I don't anymore.

Toasted ciabatta, marinated baked tofu, kimchi, sriracha mayonnaise, fried egg, pickled carrots and jalapenos if I have them. Kinda like pic related but way better and more attractive.
I tried to make those once, and the insides never heated up. Maybe you need one of those double sided grills or something. I had to disassemble it then broil it for a bit. Still quite good though.

Meh the veganaise was just something I wanted to try and I ended up liking it. The health food store I go to gives out samples so I tried one and liked it, and ended up buying some later.
I think it has a little less calories too anyway

I make a sandwich almost every day, and it's almost always different. The basics, from the bottom up are:
>bread, always trying new things, often baking my own, but most typically buy a whole grain seeded loaf i've come to love, lightly toasted
>big spread of homemade hummus, make a quart of it almost every week
>giant handful of baby spinach, which is usually the thickest layer
>a couple thin slices of tomato
>a thin slice of red or yellow onion
>a large handful of alfalfa sprouts
>a quarter of an avocado spread on the top piece of bread
The "x" can be any number of lunch meats, or a slice from last night's leftovers, or some grilled vegetables from last night's leftovers, or some fried tofu, or just some thick, raw cucumber slices.
Fuck the bonus points, I had something similar to this off a food truck at Relay for Life (cancer walk event) anyway, it was without a doubt the greatest thing I'd ever had the pleasure of putting into my mouth, if I could cum from eating a sandwich this would be the one to do it, could've sworn I got a chub halfway through
At first I thought you were confusing the cornstarch for salt.
It does look like a lot of salt, but those are pretty thick pork chops, and he's making them as a substitute for spam, so what do you expect?
Honestly, every time someone posts this video to make fun of it, the only real problem I have is how he acts like he invented this thing called marbled eggs, as though it's something new and classy.
Sesame seed bagel. Should be one of the fresh ones, or at made that day, not one of the refrigerated/frozen ones that come 6 to a pack.
Romaine lettuce, plum tomatoes, a slice of cheese (I use muenster or smoked provolone) and this weird stuff called Dijonnaise. I'm sure there's better mustards and mayos out there but my friend always used this stuff when she made this sandwich so I still do.
Toasting the bagel is optional, I prefer not to

When I'm feeling really lazy I make a sandwich that's just hummus, cucumbers, and roasted red peppers (the kind you get in a jar)

no matter where we go, no matter what time of day, my brother gets one of these. even if they're serving breakfast he'll make a plea for it since it can be made without cooking anything. they always hook him up with one.

I like chicken, spinach, mozzarella, and balsamic mayo as a panini.
There's also a microbrewery near me that makes a reuben with red chile dressing and something they call apple kraut. Fucking delicious.

A past roommate used to do that with t-shirts, one guy would make them with silkscreening then others would sell them at various venues and events. Thing is no never have the whole bunch in one place in case some overzealous rent-a-cop wants to confiscate them. He made a lot per event/concert and didn't have to worry about keeping sandwiches cold.

ya, you can. I prefer classic poutine though, with extra cheese curds. I usually have a small bit of ketchup on the side in a tiny tub, to dip the non-gravy coated fries in.
