I just find them... bland.
Am I doing it wrong?

Salt cured, smoked, and mascerated in herbed olive oil is the way to go.
>>7034703
salt them to bring out a little bit of flavor, but otherwise fresh moz doesn't have much flavor

It's bouncy milk!
Add salt pepper and a nice olive oil, maybe a basil leave if you feel crazy.
The trick is to combine them with the most flavorful tomatoes you can find.
If you're from a country that is not Italy, just let go. Real "bocconcini" (mozzarella) made with real milk are only produced n Italy. You are probably eating something that's not even made of real milk

Are you fuckin retarded or trolling?
>>7036764
Yes, because every country outside of Italy uses fake milk for everything.
>>7036764
lol same fampai
OP is probably eating bocconcini from McDonalds! Amerifats, am I right?

>they only make cheese with milk in Italy
it's quite hard to pinpoint the difference between good and bad mozzarella descriptively. words like 'richer' and 'fresher tasting' usually come up. but there is a huge difference. obviously the buffalo stuff has a greater fat content but there are other differences. anyway it's much rarer to get bocconcini made with buffalo milk, at least overseas. the proper stuff usually comes in a larger ball.

>obviously the buffalo stuff has a greater fat content
how is that obvious?
>overseas
which seas?
>the proper stuff usually comes in a larger ball
boccocini IS small sized mozzarella, it is proper
>>7036837
buffalo milk has a higher fat content.
bocconcini are small sized mozzarella, not necessarily small sized buffalo mozzarella. i was saying that getting buffalo mozzarella in bocconcino form is relatively rare outside italy.
eat it with deli
get some tomatoes, some olive oil/balsamico oil, maybe some basil leaves, salt and pepper it . . . maybe put it on some sliced baguette or whatever
its really simply. It all comes down to how fresh/high quality your ingredients are for this, as its kinda difficult to fuck up
I actually like mozzarella exactly because of how little taste it has.
>>7036847
Mozzarella is made from buffalo milk by default. If it's not, it's fake.
>> i was saying that getting buffalo mozzarella in bocconcino form is relatively rare outside italy.
Genuine mozzarella made from buffalo milk is rare outside italy period, regardless of what size it is.
