>>5821624
Half an hour on bake?
Thanks
>>5821626
350 for an hour is baked potato
determine when you want to pull out and oil/season again
but wtf, the point is to slice them as thin as possible
Here is the picture i was trying to follow

Oh shit nigga i thought that was thin
But okay thanks
You cook them until they're done.
Ingredients are always different. Unless you're baking, use your better judgement, taste, adjust, and cook it until it's how you want it to be.
But yeah, 350 F is pretty standard. When you can stick a fork or a steak knife through a thick slice without having to force it, it's done.

What do
>>5821723
Throw ice on the pan to reduce steam, assuming its not smoke in there

I'd wait for your oven to cool down, and then clean it.

How well did you coat them in oil/butter before baking them?
Hit any spots you did like?
Will try again and cut them thinner?
What were you expecting?

Call 911.
>there are people in the world that can't bake a potato until it's crisp
You turn the oven up, add some kind of oil, and don't take them out until they're done however you like them. It's just not that hard.
Abandon ship. Seriously. You need to leave your house right now. Don't turn the oven off. In fact, throw some newspaper in it and then leave as quickly as possible.

They were okay.
I think i need to slice thinner and use sea salt instead of rock salt
Also pepper

Hasselback potatoes are not what they're cracked up to be
>not fluffy on the inside like a baked potato
>not crispy on edges like a properly roasted/fried tomato
>just ends up dry and too chewy
Instead of the best of both worlds, you get the worst. Next time just cut it up, toss it in oil, and roast it at 400 f for about 45 minutes to an hour, turning/tossing halfway through
