Those of /ck/ who like eggplant, what the fuck is wrong with you?
>literally bland, no flavor
>shitty texture
>looks like a nig nog's cock
>no point in eating it for the health benefits because you need to fry it in oil just for it to taste decent
>smells like ass
How could you do this to yourself?
>>8913513
>eggplant
An hero you retarded shart
>>8913513
Two questions. Are you an expert on cocks and do you know what every ass smells like?
>>8913513
You don't have to fry it, you can cook it down into an unrecognizable bland mush, too.
I was in Chattanooga over the weekend and I stopped in the Moon Pie store and bought this 4 inch, 100 year anniversary, moon pie branded, cast iron skillet for 18 bucks. Did I get memed?
>>8912360
$18? Nah, you did great. Fucking Moon Pies!
>cast iron
>18 bucks
>in 2017
You did good
>>8912387
This. Even Lodge shit would be more expensive. 4 inches though, lmao
Why is Hardees so fucking disgusting?
>>8912131
There was a time probably 15 years ago right after their rebranding when they used to be a top competitor burger chain. But that was long ago. The last 3 times I've gotten their Frisco burger it's been cold to the core and dry. I will never eat there again for the rest of my life. BK and McDs are better than this trash.
>>8912152
This basically sums it up. Early 2000's they had GOAT burgers, but all their shit is low quality now, even the thickburgers.
>>8912131
The last time I went there, some sloth like mutant served me my food and drink lukewarm. Never again.
>get job at pic
>buns are literally from the grocery store
>cheese is regular sliced cheddar
>veggies come in a bag from the grocery store
>meat is frozen
I'm sorry but how is this unhealthy?
If this is true i am surprised. Where does the burger come from though? Also all locations differ so it could be different where you are compared to other locations.
>>8911855
>meat is frozen
not for long, apparently
>>8911855
I'm pretty sure it would be very impractical to get your stocks from a GROCERY STORE, or that would be the biggest store ever and the smallest McD ever
Anyway. McD isn't really unhealthy in itself aside from how there's too much salt to make up for the low-quality ingredients (chances are, you eat salty with your own food anyway)
The funniest shit is seeing people saying "Oh no McDonalds is unhealthy I'll just get myself a frozen pizza and some cookies and a soda"
What the fuck am I supposed to make with boneless chicken for a week?
boneless wings
>>8911441
You mena sauced tendies
>>8911437
Bake it and use for meals throughout the week.
For me it's:
>olive oil
>garlic powder
>smoked paprika
>ground ginger
>salt n pepper
>bake at 350F for about 25 minutes
Now, when you're too lazy to cook (so every day), you've got meat ready to add to almost anything.
I am convinced there is no better cheap as fuck food than this. Prove me wrong.
>as low as 50 cents per burrito
>add some salsa or cheese and it's delicious
>takes only 1 minute to make
Ramen doesn't have shit on El Monterrey.
>>8910530
I usually keep at least one pack around for cheap but somewhat hearty food.
>>8910530
Well it's like $8.
That's alright but they sell giant versions for a dollar now at family dollar, so you can get 4lbs instead for $8.
>every single one is basically a giant ice cube
>throw burrito into microwave
>ends of burrito are stale and fucking cremated
>middle is still block of ice
fuck off
Conducting a very unofficial casual survey..
Are you familiar with pierogis?
Do you like them?
Are they something you would purchase from a mobile vendor?
Love them, but idk about from a street vendor
>>8909943
Do you have a poor opinion of food trucks as being "dirty" or what is the reason?
I live in Manitoba. Perogies (as we spell them) are fucking everywhere. No matter who you are, you either have a older relative who makes tons of perogies, or you know an old lady who makes them and you buy them from her.
I'd buy them from a street vendor, why not? Street vendors are cheap, see if you like what you get, and if you didn't no big loss. Even mediocre perogies are still delicious.
Why are they so based, /ck/?
you mean based off shit
theyre horrible
>>8909928
>being this stupid
>>8909931
everything you like is bad
this is the most overrated cheese of all time
That's not cheddar.
>the only dish with moz is pizza
Why do americans do this?
It's hard to grate.
In your opinion, is five guys overrated?
If so, what other burger joints would you recomend as an alternative?
I don't think it's 'over'rated but DEFINITELY 'over'priced
At their price point? Yes. They are overrated.
Not overrated, definitely the best burger from any other fast casual chains like shake shack or whataburger etc
I've decided that I want to take my passion of cooking and turn it into a career, and I think I need a little help concerning where I should start. I am not professionally trained, but I have been following my grandmother and mother, both of who have held positions as head chefs at a large golf course/catering center, for my whole life. I have an adept knowledge of classical french techniques, and have been delving into more modernist techniques such as sous vide and molecular gastronomy. What would be the best way to get into a professional kitchen? Im looking to start somewhere at the very bottom peeling vegetables, and eventually working my way to sous chef or even executive chef. Any tips on finding a restaurant with a kitchen staff that would be willing to take me on as an apprentice? If it's any help, I am a 21 year old man living within commuting distance to minneapolis, MN.
t. flyover state anon with dreams of becoming a professional chef without classical training

Usually a hand job does the trick. But you might also need to suck some cock.
Marco White could probably weigh in on this.

I'm looking for things to eat during the day while on amphetamines. Since stimulants can dramatically reduce appetite, the servings should be pretty small. So basically I want foods that fit the following criteria:
>healthy (antioxidants, vitamins, good fats, &c.)
>high caloric density is not an issue
>small portions
>relatively simple
>not too acidic (acidity flushes amps out of the body)
Any suggestions?
A bullet
Sushi
Peanut butter
Fruit
>USA just got KFC Zinger sandwiches
>every American cancertube fast food reviewer is covering it
It's nice confirming the States are falling behind the rest of the third world nations where the Zinger had already evolved.
>>8917102
Meme-tastic!
>>8917102
>Only just get the Zinger
>It's only the original Zinger
So they don't even have the Zinger Stacker or the Zinger BBQ Bacon and Cheese?
Wow.
For me it's the Grander Texas.
