>be me, camembert

>smell like a pier
>taste good though

Anyone know any good food-based pairings for camembert?

Planning to try gruyere next. Not that big of a fan of Swiss cheese, but I'm willing to try it. How is an authentic gruyere?

Also, any other cheese recommendations?

If you live in france you already know the answer
If you don't live in france, it's fake camembert so the question is invalid
>muh authenticity
Experts can't tell the difference between DRC La Tache and Barefoot Moscato
>>
>>9056284

Don't live in France. Just know a place with of imports and am slowly traveling down the cheese rabbit hole.

...so the "authentic Normandy camembert" I am buying is a load of garbage?

Probably more authentic than GMO American stuff though
>>
>>9056286
If you live in America, you are eating French ''''cheese'''' that was made specifically for the "export to sharts" market, because the WIDF lobbied the FDA to ban real cheese. It's not so much "low quality camembert", it's in fact, not camembert at all. It is not sold, marketed, or known within the EU. This was done in order to make it more "fair" for Wisconsin cheese makers who felt that they were unfairly singled out by American consumers as producing lower quality cheese. Thanks to this patriotic legislation Americans are now able to see why Wisconsin cheese is in fact the best in the universe. If you disagree you obviously have never set foot in Wisconsin and are probably not even American.

I think Clif bars are pretty good for eating every 3-4 hours while flying. They don't make crumbs and don't move too fast so I won't need to poop before reaching the hostel. They ARE candy bars. Brown rice syrup is actually negligibly worse than all the other sweeteners.

I dip while I sip.

Goulash, beef stew, lamb vindaloo, pot roast that's been cooked long enough that the meat falls apart and melts in your mouth.

Why are red meat-based, saucy preparations like these the best food on this Earth?

So, we're setting up a party and the guys planning it wasted most of the budget with vodkas and tequila.

I'm planning to get some whiskeys with the leftover budget, making a balance between quality and quantity. What is the best i can get: Jack daniels or Johnnie Walker Red/Black label? There's also a "jack daniels honey" for the same price of the original but is it worth it?

I know nothing about whiskeys and these are the only ones i can get here from a Reliable Supplier.

I prefer jim bean. Doesn't taste cheap like jack, but that's me. Any whisky "Honey" types are sweet. A little too sweet sometimes, I drink it on ice during hot summer nights.

They're not even remotely the same alcohol. One is corn whiskey, the other is scotch. They taste nothing alike and are made entirely differently.

Sup /k/. What do you people think about the European burger scene? How does it compare to the American market? I haven't been to the states for 15 years and don't really have any memory of the fast food there. Pic related, a meal I had in Helsinki this week.

Why does Australia have such a rich cafe culture?

Starbucks literally shriveled up and died over there because the local cafes were too good

Australia has a much smaller population than USA, so it's easier for things like local cafes to survive. I can still find local cafes in USA though.

Australians are drunk 24/7 and dumber than niggers. You can't market anything to these people.

how do I make her stop

>>
>>9055733
Just tell her to calm the fuck down and to not buy rice from China. There's only a few good places to buy rice from anyway - California, India, and Pakistan. If you don't believe me, look that shit up. Lowest rates of arsenic and other contaminants. And even then, when you buy aged basmati, you need to make sure you're buying a reputable brand, and not one that colors the rice yellow to look aged.
>>
If you can't tell that your rice is made of plastic then you probably deserve to eat a bowl of plastic rice. Tell her that if she ever buys some plastic rice and ends up eating it, she deserves it.
