So what kind of excuse can /ck/ come up with to imply that I can't live solely on instant noodles?
>fucking impossible mode: Not using soup base
i imagine there's some egg in there. it's a complete protein.
but i'd be concerned about scurvy.

Any floridanons eaten here? Heard it has good reviews
>>9062751
I was there years ago.
It was fine.
Broward is a bit of BBQ wasteland, but if you a nearby I would rather go to the 4Rivers in Coral Springs. The BBQ there is just better.
>semi-nice restaurant
>takes a bite of food with fork
>hey anon that alfredo looks yummy
>reach across table with same fork and role up a big fork full without asking
>eat my food with their mouth open
>*belch*
>>9062687
You'd let them get that far? Don't be such a doormat.
>>9062687
I see no problem with this
>>9062687
how close are you two. if you're fucking then you cant complain.

It's Sunday, and you know what that means?
It's ramen day!
My favourite ramen is indomie mi goreng.
What's yours?
>>9063801
how do you cook this?
i had an asain friend tell me I'm supposed to drain the water after then cook a little bit more or something with the sauce.
ended up burning it and tasted really garlicy.
I want to give it another try though.
>>9063808
Add the flavour sachets to a pot of boiling water. Add the dry noodles, and immediately turn off the heat. Let it sit until the noodles are soft, this will take about 5-7 minutes. Then pour the entire contents into a bowl and eat!
Bon-appo-teet!
>>9063813
So there's no draining noodles right?
I work a 13ish hour shift tomorrow and need some ideas
>pic related, I get this hungry
A big tupperware of leftover pasta with sauce and chicken is always good for me. Maybe a bag of grapes to snack on.
>>9063149
Yeah nothing beats soggy noodles.
What kind of ingredients you got to work with? Usually I pan sear a couple of well-seasoned chicken breasts and roast some veggies in the oven, throw them on top of a bunch of rice. Either that or make a bigass sub sandwich that will last you all day long.
Is it possible to use string cheese when making cheese sauce? It's the only cheese I have and I really want to make some for nachos
>>9062553
>pickled jalapenos
>>9062553
Now that's the kind of dish you would want to smoke a blunt before.
I hate it when my fish come out dry. I prefer them moist and flavorful. Recently I was thinking that I could make ceviche fish and then pan sear it for a minute on both sides. Although I like the flavor of ceviche, I prefer the texture of fish that has been cooked. Would something like this result in fish that is properly cooked without being dry or would it be a waste of time? Also what type of fish would work best for something like this? I was thinking tuna steaks would work okay.
>>9062452
Waste of time. Undercook like a steak and make a sauce. I don't care if you plate the fish on top or below the fish but it's a fuck-up and yes, a waste of time.
Try it both ways and try to tell me I'm wrong.
>>9062458
This. Undercook. find the sweet spot between mushy and flakey. especially with whitefish.
>>9062452

England: greasy battered fish and chips
Iceland: ice
Ireland: raw potato
France: cheese
Canada: maple syrup
China: rice
India: fecal matter
USA: high fructose corn syrup
Why do British people do this?
Burgers are still a novelty to them, and so must be "artisinally presented as they would in the native homeplace of Burgerland, served on a rustic shovel as the humble burger is often too poor to afford separate ceramic dishes"
>>9062439
Because it's illegal to manufacture AK receivers out of shovels there.
>>9062439
They are secretly distributing assault shovels.
BIN THAT SHOVEL
>Going out to eat
>Trying to narrow down menu choices
>Ask server how a particular item is, secretly want to know if she eats the food here
>she says the dish is "popular"
Anyone else do this? Turn their dining experience into a fucking interrogation?
>>9062464
get a real job you front of house piece of shit. they didn't tip you? shouldve had your tits out
>>9062464
No because I'm not an asshole.
>Go out to eat
>Don't want whatever the restaurant specializes in
>Ask them what kind of bread they use
>If it's good quality, just get a sandwich
>If it's sliced, get up and leave
so /ck/, i need your help
i got ripped off a chinese shop (i think) and bought this cooking rice wine in a rush for my meme foods. Regardless of this situation, how can i know if this wine is actually good for cooking chinese food?. It has an alcoholic taste/ feel, and its close to what other rice wines taste like ( but i havent had a lot of them, just sake)
I used it for fried rice and it didnt taste bad.
>>9062355
I have a bottle of shitty ass chinese cooking wine like that. I use it for deglazing stir fry pans right when I add the vegetables after the meat is done. It's fine. Doesn't taste terrible. Doesn't taste as good as upstate riesling but it never goes bad and I'm never tempted to drink it so it's convenient
this is the only label it has (besides the price etiquette that i ripped off... btw it was 3 dollars). it also has "kwangtung miju" on the bottle seal at the top.
>>9062355
>bought something you didn't really recognize
>it didn't taste bad
>"I got ripped off"
Idiot.
Chicken tenders breaded with shortbread cookie crumbs
Amerifats have gone too far
>implying they actually use shortbread
I assume they just pour a bunch of sugar into their normal coating.
Really, Popeye's is just good for their spicy chicken, biscuits and butterfly shrimp.
>>9062067
I've breaded chick with Captain Crunch. Also it's a thing served in restaurants. Bing it.
>>9062067
I've had these, they don't really taste sweet at all. The flavor is barely different from regular Popeye's tenders. The pepper jam sauce that comes with them is amazing though.
what about bagels?
what about em?
worst type of donut
>>9062064
it's just a torus-shaped bun
extremely unpractical for sandwiches too
