That mid day /sip/
>>9058512
Kill yourself.
>that first sip of the midday
You need to catch up. Us east coast elites are already on that early evening /sip/
These shits are a fucking disgrace to humankind.
>>9074298
Agreed. One of the few times in my life I was unable to finish a bevvie because of how disgusting it tasted.
>>9074298
drank two after not drinking for 2+ years at my coworkers funeral, vomited everywhere, had to be driven home. the groom helped me into the backseat of a car. it was so humiliating.
i miss them.
>>9074841
Wait, the groom? At a funeral? I've never been to a funeral. There's a groom?
My diet's been nothing but fish, poultry, produce, water, and tea for the last six weeks, less than 900 calories a day, jogging 2 miles in addition to working 9-12 hours packing in a warehouse, and I'm still not losing any fucking weight at all. The only change is that my joints and back are killing me and I have less and less energy every day.
My doctor and nutritionist are useless faggots who tell me the same shit every visit and tell me to stop doing things I keep telling them I haven't done in months (no beer, potatoes, red meat, bread, fried foods, you know.)
Should I give up and just get liposuction already? I have a fucking 46 inch waist.
>>9072760
What you describe is physically impossible.
The only possible explanations are:
1) you're miscounting your calories (a common problem)
2) you're eating in your sleep
How are you calorie counting. Are you weighing everything or are you winging it?
>>9072763
I'm using the Fitbit app and the calories on the labels.
>>9072767
Well, there's either something wrong with the app or how you are using it.
Why am I suddenly addicted to this?
Because you've recently discovered you're gay.

>>9069622

>continue boiling until the point where you take the egg out of water the shell will dry almost instantly.

>What country you're from
>How much of the food you eat is traditional to your country
America
if we are assuming mexican food is traditional (i think so? i live in southern california) then probably 75%
im white btw
>>9069108
USA
do we even have traditional food here?
I usually just eat chicken sandwiches, eggs/bacon/toast, or take out
>>9069128

The new Naked Chips are kinda shit as they're basically nuggets, but what's the best thing on Taco Bell's menu?

well no shit genius
So given the performance of recent wine threads I think we can now support more than one wine thread at once, as with beer threads and liquor threads
What wine are /ck/ drinking today? I picked up this unfiltered biodynamic rosé, mostly tempranillo. But not just unfiltered:
>su embotellado ... se realiza siguiendo las fases de la luna y el calendario biodinamico
I never knew I needed this in my life but now that I have it I don't think I can ever go back. TBQH I feel sorry for people whose wines are at odds with the lunar cycle. But we can't all be me so, post what wine you're drinking
I'm new to wine, whats a decent dark red for around $10?
>>9066316
how dark we talking?
some cannonau from sardinia or cahors wine from france might fit the bill
but if you're flyover that stuff may exceed the limit by a lot assuming you can find it at all
>>9066339
Not sure, I'm near Chicago so my options may not be as vast as yours. But just something you'd recommend to those not well versed with wine.
I usually just down whiskey but I've been wanting to try some wines
I'd like to find more, it's just so pleasantly satisfying. Give me your best

I like vertical plating. It just appeals to me.
>>9074676
What do you mean by vertical plating? Like the food is stacked into a phallic tower?
>>9074692
tower of soup

You guys got any great soup recipes?
I love me some french onion personally.
Are you kidding? I love soup. Beef & barley I make most often. its basically the same everytime depending what i have left around. ingredients are listed in order so you can make it
>minced onion/butter/garlic
>can of shrooms
>beef
>can of tomato paste, then can of diced tomatoes
>canned stock
>pearl barley
>salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin
dinner and then lunch for three days
>French onion soup
My nigga. I generally do either that or a simple soup with chicken broth, potatoes, carrots and onions (kind of in a golden ratio proportion) served with tortellini.
>>9074519
Poach a ham shank for an hour or so with onion, carrot, celery.
Honey mustard glaze and roast in a hot oven. Use for sandwiches/salads, etc.
Take the broth, strain and thicken with a roux.
Add diced potato and a good pinch of thyme.
Simmer until potatoes are tender.
Add finely chopped watercress.
Season with pepper. (Should be salty enough from the ham)
wa la
I just wondering if these are okay to buy.
They're a slight notch up from the burgers you'd get in a 90's public school cafeteria. Pretty weaksauce.
>>9074158
No. They taste fake.
>>9074158
Pretty good for four bucks.
Traveling to B.C. next week. Never had Canadian Whiskey before. Need a good one that I can sip straight.
Literally all complete shit. The only good Canadian whiskeys aren't even made in Canada. Save your money
>>9073241
It's about the goddamn canadian experience! Last time I went, I tried their beer. It all tasted like water, but goddamn it I felt like I was REALLY experiencing canada.
>>9073273
This nigga right here knows what Canada is about. Op just get some crown royal original or apple and wallow in mediocrity, eh.
