Not as good as the one from hardees. Just go to carls jr. or make it yourself op plzz do yourself a favor
When you guys are frying food,do any of you close your eyes and start imagining the food cooking? Or is that just me?
I don't fry.
When I fry food I just look at it and watch it cook.
>>9089832
I tape my eyes open and lean in close to the pan.
Can I make escargot out of garden snails? Are there any health risks? Are they generally too small?
They have parasites that'll bore into your muscles. I forget the name.
>>9089792
You have to eat snails that have been raised on a diet of corn meal in a tank. Snails out in the wild have crap and parasites in their system.
It's a possibility.
Though at about a 5% chance it can carry rat lungworm, so if you know there is an infestation of rats in your area, I would say stay away.
Though if cleaned properly and well you are in an area with little to no wild rats, it should be safe to try once at least. Besides Gordon Ramsey can agree to eating garden variety escargo.

Throw it away at a waste disposal site that can safely contain it for the 4 centuries it will take to decay.
My bad
>Great Value
>My Little Pony
throw it away and suffocate yourself with the plastic bag
Am I crazy or does Vahchef always use way larger amounts of spices in his videos than what his ingredient list calls for?
Also what's a super legit lamb vindaloo recipe?
IT'S YOU VAAAH CHEF FROM VARIVA DOT COM
Braise lamb
Add curry powder
Poo in it
Simmer for hours
Serve with rice
What role does a cast iron wok fill?
At best i think its just a badly shaped dutch oven.
Good for deep frying stuff?
Cast iron pans, woks and the like serve 3 major roles-
1) getting this really, really fucking hot
2) weeding out the weak
3) doubling as a murder weapon when the time is right
I carry mine as a shield on my back
you vs the guy she told you not to worry about
:(

Left is full tang. Right may not be, and the handle doesn't extend far enough forward.
>>9089149
That's not full tang at all you cripple
>>9089149
Right has better knuckle clearance and is longer. There is no reason for a full tang kitchen knife unless you're using the same knife to sneak up to large game and kill it with the same knife you use to prepare food. You should really consider using a gun or a spear, and leave this delicate "cooking" stuff to the delicate ladies who manage not to break their knives just because they don't have 3 rivets driven through the handle to show how manly you are.
why don't you use this?
>>9089068
I bought one, but it sucks. The peeler I have works so much better.
>>9089068
I use it to get thin slices of cheese
>>9089068
i do
Post lunch
Lunch today is water and bed rest so I can recover from drinking cheap shit from 6pm yesterday until 9am today
For the next month or so, I'll have to not only feed myself but 2 other mouths as well. Groceries are insanely expensive in my country. Advice?
poor-fuck general thread, i guess
Get money

Food bank, Church , dumpster diving
What country?
Building a list of food staples 101:
Step 1 - Veggies: Walk through your grocery store. Look at price per kilo, and come up with a list of what veggies are cheapest. In Canada, I might be looking at cabbage, carrots, onion, and broccoli as 'cheap stables'. Cheapest fruit is almost always apples and bananas.
Step 2 - Carbs: Buy very large sacks of rice, beans, lentils, or other grains and legumes. Make sure the price is the cheapest dollar per unit you can get
Step 3 - Protein: Eggs, whole milk, and pork are usually the cheapest protein here in Canada. Ground/mince meat is almost always cheaper than solid meat cuts. Peanut butter is also cheap.
Bonus tips:
Buy large bottles/containers of cooking oil to add calories to your meals
Avoid buying tiny expensive bottles of spice. Try to find a store that will sell you bulk spices.
SALES! DO NOT IGNORE SALES! This is how to get variety in your diet, and it's a great way to stock up. Buy 'fancy' foods like canned tomatoes, frozen vegetables, chicken bouillon powder, etc. on sale.
Avoid processed foods in boxes or bags. Not worth the dollar per calorie.
Well, I'm dying of hangover currently. I'm going to make a grilled cheese, and pic related. What do I put in here to make it any better?
Not much, it's one of those things enjoyed as a basic comfort food really.
Post pics of finished grilled cheese.

It will feel very uncomfortable, but go running until you're dripping sweat. Chug a bunch of water, gatorade, or even better, pedialyte with a multivitamin. Then have a greasy meal. Maybe fit a light beer dsomewhere in the beginning over there as to temporarily ward off some of the effects of the hangover until you've gotten yourself ready.
I add black pepper, fresh basil, parmesean, olive oil, and cream.
Anyone else afraid to try new things and go to a new small restaurant?
Many people there, you're alone picking up an order. I never go outside..
>>9088891
A coffee shop opened near my house where there used to be an appliance store. I'd like to go but their curbside sign is ghetto as fuck and the name of the place spells cafe "caffe"

You have social anxiety, which sucks but it can be helped. I recommend seeking help. There's no shame in it, and you can greatly increase your quality of life. I got counseling when my depression got really bad, and it didn't fix everything but it sure as hell made things better. If seeing a counselor is too big of a step or not feasible for you right now, I'd look into internet resources like forums. You can get better anon, good luck.
If it doesn't have a steady stream of customers within 2 weeks of opening yeah, I'm definitely pretty afraid. I go to a lot of openings because I am a reprehensible "foodie" that you people would probably consider "punchable" and yeah, first week, empty is ok. Two weeks though, if it's still empty, go fuck yourself. I am done supporting "mom and pop indie struggling local joints", there's a place down the block like that, they've got their regular pity customers but the food is always fucked up tasting and I hate the desperate overly friendly way the owner/waitress/chef always acts when I come in, like she's so glad to see me and hopefully keep the dream alive for another month before the Marshall Service puts a lock on the front door and a no trespassing sign.
guys, I just made a discovery, if you eat baked beans then drink lemonade your burps will smell like sausage and egg mcmuffins
