>drive to McDonalds
>order McChicken
>tell them McChicken is the best fast food sandwich for me
>immedietly realize how autistic that was
>its a qt girl at the window
>I drop my mom's credit card down the crack of the seat
>stuttering I literally say "this doesn't normally happen you're just so pretty"
>my face goes bright read I can feel it in my ears
>she tells me to hurry up
>gun the gas
>ride up onto curb keep gunning it onto highway
>see police officer in line behind me turn on his siren
>try to run
>make it home
>5 officers outside my house
Long story short I'm facing some serious charges. Fuck your McChicken shitposting it ruined my life.

Forced meme it is the McFish.
>>9091436
Whywould you even go to McDonalds? Thier shit tastes like ass and falls apart instantly. Just make your own burger.

Fillet-o-fish is the second best. The >>8999999 get confirmed that.
Good morning /ck/! What are you having for breakfast?
Apologies for the flipped image, my phone hates me
vodka screwdriver
>check out this shitty sushi
Nothing wrong with pasta for breakfast if you keep it light. I mean, I wouldn't have carbonara, but just some pasta dressed with a little OO and maybe a finely diced bell pepper mixed in is fine.
I had the usual tall glass of vodka from the freezer and a black coffee chaser. I should be able to keep down solids come noon.
Where can I buy a can opener like this? I've been looking all over Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, and elsewhere (even Newegg, because they sell can openers, apparently), and can't find one like it. Namely, I want a can opener that combines the "church key" design into the handle of the standard "rotating wheel" design.
Most grocery stores tend to have this style wherever they stock kitchen tools. They're pretty inexpensive OP, normally less than $5.

I'd really recommend just getting a church key and a more modern can opener. It sucks opening cans with the old metal handle ones.

thanks OP, will try this recipe out sometime this week! :)
Why were the fruits you got from the lunch line at school so much smaller and shittier than the kind your mom bought from the store? I get that they were probably cheaper, but why? It's fucking fruit. It comes out of the ground. You can't just make less of it to cut costs.

Anyone had mulled wine before?
It looks like a really comfy way to get shitfaced on a cold winters day, but I'm not sure if it's worth the time and effort that goes into making it.
>>9090888
Last winter, my mom gave me three gallons of homemade wine that was almost spoiled so I invited some friends and had a mulled wine party. Turned out great and comfy af.
Here's my recipe:
>pour wine into pot on low heat
>toast whole spices in a dry pan:
>>clove
>>cinnamon
>>allspice
>>star anise
>tie into a cheesecloth bag when fragrant and add to wine
>zest and juice oranges and add to wine
>steep until flavorful
>serve in mugs
>offer freshly grated nutmeg
Adjust quantities to taste
>>9090888
Toast clove, allspice, and vanilla.
Dump in your wine, apple cider, and orange juice
Grate ginger and nutmeg
Lemon and orange slices
1 hour wait, brandy, bitters, and Wa La!
By the way, I prefer manischewitz. And lean.

Very common in Northern europe and germany.
Super nice, we often serve it with raisins and almonds aswell.
so i just got chickfila and the fries taste like they were made a while ago. how long should i nuke them for?
45 minutes in a double boiler.

Always seems to happen to my brother when I cook. Break down a whole chicken, shred it with my hands, fingers through it to make sure I got all the bones out, and rest assured he's going to still find one.

>when it's glass
Bake bacon at 400°
remove bacon
Add chppoed and peeled potatoes to bacon grease pan
Bake until crispy
Cover with shredded cheese and top with chopped bacon
Bake until cheese melts
Enjoy
No one ever do this?
pic soon
Used a blender to chop the bacon because lazy
Meal created because I had nothing else in the house to cook
Looks great, thanks OP
>prep for menu item for an hour
>have to 86 menu item 2 hours later
>>9090424
We used to say 'deep six' in my kitchen, maybe it's supposed to be some kind of contraction of that
>>9090108
Probably because it took an hour to prep and chef realized there was no way to get the shit out
>>9090108
You get paid either way, so as long as it wasn't your fault, why care?

It goes back to soda jerk slang. They used a variety of apparently random numerical terms. A "55" was a root beer, for instance.
Holy fuck I never would have imagined faux meat would taste this good.
Any other meat eaters here tried Gardein and liked it better than actual meat? Blew my damn mind.

Hey /cooks/,
recently had lunch with a dutch friend and the table besides us ordered a pretzel. When my friend saw it he was pretty chocked of what we called a pretzel.
I'd like to try my hands at making some. Do you guys have a recipe and/or tips? First time trying this. Thanks mates
>>9089909
>chocked of
I'm assuming based on context you meant
>shocked at
>>9089916
Yep my bad, typpo
>>9089909

Should we assume that you are in Germany?
Also, what do the Dutch know about pretzels that would shock them?
You and your friend sound like a couple of idiots.
