/ck/ I'm in an emergency situation
I'm at Jack in the Box and ordered ten chicken nuggets for here. I just got my food and they are chicken tenders. Should I say something? What if someone in the drive thru is getting nuggets when they ordered tenders?
>>9092759
why would you not? there are single mothers and niggers who yell at the workers for not giving them a plastic fork or whatever, and you don't want to say anything when they messed up your order?
I worked at Chick-fil-A one summer. Once, on break, I ordered a sandwich and tenders. I got served and charged with literally 100 nuggets. I tried to inform the crew leader about the mix up, tried to explain that a customer likely had my order instead. They either didn't hear it didn't care. They were very rude demanding I be quiet and leave them alone. So, I didn't ear during my break that day.
I brought the issue up with a supervisor and they berated me further saying I'm not allowed in work areas during my break. And, though through apparently great inconvenience to them, I got that huge order off my card.
Later that shift, I was talking negativity about that situation to a co-worker when a crew leader overheard and told on me for being negative. I got called into the managers office and they told me that I was not to bring down the mood in the kitchen and to keep quiet. So I did. The next day I didn't talk besides manditory communication.
Well, what do you know, I got called to the manager again who told me I was being too quiet and expected me to socialize because they didn't want employees to feel they were walking on eggshells shells.
A week later after I came back from taking out the trash and got trash juice down my arm the forign girl came up and laid into me about how I never help close and don't so anything. I called her a bitch and got fired.
Fucking normies.

Burger King is better than McDonalds.
>>9092588
Cookout or Whataburger or In-n-Out > Wendy's > McDonalds > Burger King
Wendy's beats them both
Burger King has luke warm meals and flame broiled taste
When I eat their food, none goes to waste
When I open my sack I sure stuff my face
I eat their food, and love their race
I've been frying up plantains every single night this week. They're so good, and they're cheap and easy to make.
Besides tostones, whats other stuff I can make with plantains?
>>9091963
Pudding? Pie? Chips?
>>9091963
Mangu
>Arañitas - grated green plantain shaped into balls and fried till very crispy
>Mangú - mashed plantain often mixed with onion
>Pastelón - basically lasagna but using layers of sweet plantain instead of pasta, has cheese but no red sauce
>Mofongo - mashed green plantain mixed with garlic and sometimes pork cracklings, often shaped into a bowl form to hold a stuffing made out of chopped steak or just to contain a seafood stew
>Amarillos - mature plantain fried and allowed to caramelize, often mixed in with rice but also used as a dessert with sweets
>Mariquita - mature plantain thinly cut lengthwise and fried, very much like a long plantain chip
>Tostones (stuffed) - before frying the green plantain the second time, use a pestle or anything else to make the tostón concave, so that it can hold a filling. Ceviche, shredded chicken, put whatever you like in there.

Is there any way for me to improve this maybe mushrooms I throw in sometimes
ciabatta bread - bacon - shallots - mustard and ketchup - bit of cheese and bit of parsley throw on
I could add tomatoes and lettuce if I wanted to but didn't feel like it
I like the butterfly plate.
as to
>improvement
I suspect your preferences are sufficiently different from mine that there no point in making a suggestion. I can't believe you're putting ketchup on that and I'm not an anti-ketchup guy.
Kill the mustard, and the ketchup, forget the lettuce.
Add mayo and tomato.
>>9091833
Roasted Peppers for some sweetness and/or heat depending on what kind(s) you use.
>>9091833
A fuckin' fried egg. I dunno about the ketchup, though.
I bring this up because I know smoking is disproportionately common in the food service industry. But from what I understand, smokers have far less tastebuds than regular people (about 40%).
Seems kind of odd. Smoking clientele derive less enjoyment from their meal than their non-smoker counterpart. Smoking cooks are preparing food without fully knowing what it tastes like.
>>9091736
Smoking definitely numbs the palate. Most smokers I know have no real appreciation for subtle flavours and just dump a shitload of salt, sugar, ketchup, hot sauce or similar on everything they eat.
Cooks smoke because they are stressed as fuck, often have self destructive tendencies and typically have lower class backgrounds.
>>9091736
I don't know because I don't smoke, but keep in mind that most senses are logarithmic so having half the tastebuds probably doesn't mean they feel "half" the taste.
When's the last time you had a nice big helping of Swedish meatballs?
(no Ikea allowed.)
>>9091716
Meatballs made in the sauce are not swedish meatballs lol
>>9091742
They cooked the meatballs separately and then poured the sauce on afterwards, retard.
>>9091742
yeah, retard
Assuming their contents are exactly the same.
Why would anyone voluntarily choose a taco over a burrito/wrap?

How is this different than dumping sugar on your food?
>>9091491
Ethanol is a 2C compound which is produced by breaking down sugars.
Wine is acidic and often brings a very complex flavour profile.
It also gives colour.
Most sugar in wine is alcohol and evaporates off pretty quickly.
How is it similar? Are you mixing up wine and grape juice?
My family loves to make chicken spaghetti. The ingredients are chicken and spaghetti. We do it certain way though. Nothing special, but it's tasty. Do you guys have any family recipes?
