Hey /ck/
I made some veggies, ground turkey, and quinoa in the slow cooker but accidentally left it on the high setting for way too long (10 hours). What resulted is a mushy paste that tastes kind of like vegetable soup.
It doesn't taste bad but the texture isn't so good. What's the best way to make use of it? I was thinking veggie meatballs or veggie patties, but I'm unsure if I need to add ingredients so they can stick together.

Why are most poor Western people so picky?
There are cases where being poor makes things more expensive, but then you get to their food and they're spending much more than needed.
Rice and beans is already enough diversity and they can't even handle it 3 times a week.

Which do you prefer? I'm referring to the instant versions of both. How do you make your hot cereal more flavorful?
I personally prefer the taste of CoW but find Quaker oats more filling. I like to add honey and craisins or raisins to them for added flavor.

A little bit of sweets goes a long way for me now, I'll feel my stomach get upset if I eat too much sugar in one sitting, never had that problem as a kid and could make a meal out of it if left to my own devices
