Looks tasty, doesn't it? Bet you didn't realize the sale of meat with tumors is legal throughout the world. Bet you also didn't realize there aren't even screening processes for it.
Some nutritional professionals have suggested consuming tumors in animals correlates with cancer in humans.
Teach the controversy.

Hi, can you reference some studies please?
>>9238609
Stop. Using. Autistic. Punctuation.
>>9238613
These aren't journal articles. This is more advanced theory from people trained in the field. Studies will be forthcoming I'm sure. Not everything needs some corporate study to be valid.

>>9236414
I guess you'll probably be ok but isn't it a huge waste of money?
Also no wonder you don't have a girlfriend, why would any self respecting woman want to be with a guy that hasn't mastered basic life skills like cooking?

>Eating food made of soy.
I hope none of you do this.
But really why do vegetarians eat fake meat? You don't see people making fake veggies out of chicken.

>Nutraloaf is a food served in prisons in the United States and Canada to inmates who have misbehaved; for example, assaulting prison guards or fellow prisoners.
>It is similar to meatloaf in texture, but has a wider variety of ingredients. Prison loaf is usually bland, perhaps even unpleasant, but prison wardens argue that nutraloaf provides enough nutrition to keep prisoners healthy without requiring utensils to be issued.
If I was in charge they'd eat nothing at all.
>There are many recipes which include a range of food, from vegetables, fruit, meat, and bread or other grains. The ingredients are blended and baked into a solid loaf. In one version, it is made from a mixture of ingredients that include ground beef, vegetables, beans, and bread crumbs. Other versions include mechanically separated poultry and "dairy blend".
Sounds pretty good t b h
How the hell can meatloaf be bad
they should be feed only soylent.
>You will never bake small pear cakes with her

Welcome to the /ck/ challenge: Vote Thread: Chilly Chilly Yum Yum Edition
****
The theme for this month was Chilled Main Dish
****
Dishes are judged on the following criteria, so keep that in mind when voting:
-Presentation: The appearance of items on the plate; plating skills
-Originality: Creativity in composing the dish
-Appeal: How appetizing the food looks/whether or not the dish appeals to your personal taste as a voter
-Challenge Goals: How closely the entry followed the challenge goal(s)
The distinction between Presentation and Appeal: If someone submits an artfully arranged but burnt steak as an entry, it may score high in Presentation but low in appeal.
While you're voting, or not voting, why not suggest a theme for next month?
Then people can vote on that, or not.

Entry The First by Akabeko
>Ok, here's my entry. Japanese food works pretty well with the theme, and I settled on cold soba noodles with a cold ginger-soy dipping broth. I served it with hot orange peel herbal tea.
>It wasn't bad. I don't think I'd be mad if I ate it again, but I tend to prefer hot meals.
Entry The Second by Spice Jar
>Roasted beef tenderloin sliders (medium rare) with blue cheese and wild mushroom espagnole sauce, coconut crusted shrimp, extra thin waffle fries, all served cold.
>yes it's from a restaurant
>yes it's from the restaurant i work at
>yes i made everything, from start to finish (aside from the slider buns)
>yes it is actually cold
>yes, it would probably be better hot
>I'm back on the line and don't have the time or energy to make an at-home entry these days, but when servers fuck up an order and we have extra food I often wrap it up, stash it in the lowboy, and eat it cold for dinner when I get home, after a few drinks - 5-6 nights a week. My philosophy is that if a server fucks up an order and I have to make it twice, that first fuck-up is going to me, not FoH.
Suggesting potatoes for the next theme.

Where did you eat? I've been to Modern Apizza, but not to Sallys or Pepes yet
>>9244103
All three and the spot, Pepes and Sallys are pretty much the same and the spot is pretty much Pepes. All are better than Modern but not by much...if it all to some people.
Feast your prole eyes on the holy grail of the food industry. Youre not worthy.

Take it back.
Any recommendations on healthy meals, that also taste good? Also, what kind of nourishment lifestyle do you lead, and why? Low Carb, etc.? Let me know what you think
>>9243906
High fiber, whole food plant based.
Once you eat this way for a while, you stop eating out of addiction and start recognizing food for what it is- fuel. And your palate changes so healthy food tastes good. My favorite meal is a plate of brown rice and various vegetables. Love having bananas and melons for breakfast. Oatmeal with dried fruit and nuts is great for a fast meal when you cant cook or didnt have time for the shop.
>>9243951
>Oatmeal
thanks!
