Honestly I always thought it would taste bad until I had some a couple days ago. It's pretty good, but it's very think. I'd cut mine with some milk. I also want to make some. Any good recipes? I'm not a drinker so would you recommend some liquor I should put in it? I really don't know much about making eggnog.

As far as pan frying...there's a reason why not too many people do it. If you'd like to saute in a little oil that's a different matter. Just make sure that whatever you're throwing in the pan is dry.
