Not even the right continent.

how do you hold your utensils?

Its not an autistic question, here's why:

Small behaviors like utensil holding reflect the persons origin. This is how spies were caught during wartime. It also reflects the persons class and possibly intelligence in understanding Etiquette or discipline. The military strongly emphasizes on that.

Think of it this way: you are out in a company meeting dinner with candidates for new employees that are going to make decisions as a job. You spot one or two of them to holding their fork by the palm while eating and reflect back that the same behavior is influent in regions of working class and welfare of flyover states where methamphetamine is prevalent and tolerance or universal education is staggered. What do you do?

I'm sure this same filter is used in other cultures as well.

I bet OP eats spaghetti with a spoon.
The raging faggot that he is.

I hold my fork like the picture on the right even though I grew up in a ghetto broken home and became homeless as a teenager,

I don't think I've ever seen someone hold the fork like the pic on the left.

Middle class.

So I've tried anything I could get my hands on, and have no issues with trying new foods. I think I only dislike one food I have ever tried, but that doesn't mean everything i've had is up to hype.

I just had kimchi and.. I mean I get it, but this limp ass cabbage kills me. It's like someone poured frank's redhot on limp flavorless pickles or sauerkraut that tastes like lettuce.
I won't say it's all for none, the heat is nice and the peppers have flavor (cayenne only, but still) there's also this almost fizz like tingle and lemmon like acidity it gives off, but the limp ass water flavored excuse for nappa cabbage brings it down.
Now I have store bought, and really I want to try some homemade (I'll try it and post it here if you guys want) and I feel like that's my problem.

Anyone else have experiences eating hyped up foods that turned out to be flops? I'll share a few more if you want to rate my taste or lack thereof.

Also, drinking thread? I only post on 4chan when drinking..

I live in Korea and hate Kimchi, Koreans just cram their mouths full of it and always give you massive piles of it as a side dish. Ugh
>>
My first time making homemade kimchi was slightly disappointing when compared to the kimchi that my friend makes on the regular. Still, the probiotics in kimchi acts like a placebo for me (I choked down every bite, telling myself that it was "so good to me!!"). I'm gonna keep refining my recipe until I'm truly satisfied.

I like looking for unique recipes. Made a pavlova for gluten-allergy family a few years ago and now have to make it for every function!

btw. Learn how to make your own frosting for cakes. Trust me.

I like to bake on occasion. Mostly German desserts because that's what I grew up with. Apfelkuchen, Pflaumenkuchen, Rhabarberkuchen, and Stollen are the most common.

I really enjoy baking bread, but I honestly can't eat much of it on my own, so what I was baking often went bad before I could eat it all.

I really enjoyed making rye breads. I really think rye is underappreciated here in the states, or at the very least, here in Washington state.

I've recently started working at Subway, and I've learned a lot of interesting and strange things about Subway and it's inner workings, so I decided to share them with the world.

NOTE:
>ask only about my job at subway, nothing about my personal life
>this is only one branch of subway, so what goes down at this one might not happen at all of them
>i wont give away anything like location or names of coworkers. I don't want to get fired.

What sort of strange things? Do you still eat there, despite the strange things?

i've heard employees absorb the smell of the restaurant. it soaks into your clothes, and you bring it home with you.

your car smells like a subway restaurant. your home smells like subway restaurant.

is it true?
