I got a shitload of habanero peppers for christmas as a joke gift, but I've no idea what to do with them anymore. I've made chili salt already, I froze a couple of them and I've preserved a couple in wodka. I'll also make some sambal tomorrow, but that'll only keep for a few weeks I think.
Any suggestions on what to do with the rest?

Hey everyone. So for Christmas I got a few knives (a Santoku, paring, and a cleaver)
My question is, what is the Santoku for that my chef knife isn't? It has little pockets to allow air in so thing don't stick, but that's not a huge problem with my chef knife.
So what, if any, is the difference for this knife?

if you are looking for a good cheap knife it doesn't get better than this
the tojiro is going to be the cheapest knife with a "super steel" blade.
Shun knives like in OP probably aren't any better, but they do look really nice.
Westhoff and Messermeister are going to be the more beefy western counterparts, they are more durable and weigh a lot more.
