Hello! I was recently in Japan and tried this Ramen that was delicious! But I can't find it stateside anywhere, does anyone know if it's sold online or what it's actual name is?
Pic Related.
That actually looks pretty good based on the picture, but I'd try one of the weeb boards if you actually want to find it.
I've gone to tons of Asian grocery stores and don't recognize that, so I'm guessing you'd have to find out the brand and whether or not somebody is importing it.

Thanks OP. Had 4 bags of it from Aldi's house brand since it was so damn cheap this week. No wonder!
Good thing I only buy store brand :+)

I can't fight, because I agree.
what are your thoughts on filipino foods, /ck/?
I enjoy some of their condiments, but most of the food is pretty bad.
I could see how if you grew up eating it, you would think it's the best, but yeah it's pretty nasty
it's just like dirtier Chinese food

i fucking love lyches, they only sell them during winter, but man, the sweetness is great, you skin them like egg, and eat the juicy jelly inside, the smaller the seed the sweeter the pulp.

What is this dish called and what is the sauce made of?
found on imgur: http://imgur.com/gallery/oN2z1
That pasta makes me think it could be Beef Stroganoff, but that's not necessarily what this is depicting - any variety of beef and/or mushroom-based sauce would appropriate.
>>7302479
hmm it's bowtie pasta though?
>>7302470
>Beef Stroganoff
Looks more like an onion gravy
Don't mind me, just mixing some noodles together.

Hey, guys I don't make cookies very often, but I had a question:
If I baked cookies the usual way (whichever way is simplest and most typical), but I mixed in with the recipe my own faeces, what color would that look most like on wikipedia's "Shades of Brown" page?
wikipedia.org/wiki/Shades_of_brown
Thanks in advance
>>7302324
depends on what you ate m8
I used to be a beer gal but lately I've also developed a taste for wines. Help me sort through the vast selection of wines available in CA by telling me your favorite wineries/specific varieties from them. Reds and whites both welcome just nothing too sweet (dessert, barbera, etc.).
Forgot to say bonus points for <$30

no need to get excited. i am clearly a genderless siamese cat.
What's a good whiskey for makin' an old fashioned ?
Bulleit
>>7301819
The one you like? The beauty of the old fashioned is that it, more than almost any other cocktail, lets much of the subtlety of the base liquor come through. So if you like the whisk(e)y, you'll like the old fashioned version of it. Note that you can give the same treatment to just about any dark spirit, so it isn't even just about bourbon, etc.
This stuff makes a good old fashioned.

This year I'm studying the possibility of farming mealworms to expend less buying chicken that's already the cheapest source of protein I can find. As promised in a thread last year I'll be reporting my progress.
Finally finished the edible insects book. You can download it here:
Very interesting reading. The book shows how eating insects is pretty normal outside the western world.
Now using the design from tinyfarms:
I'm making the calculations to find initial costs (even PVC is expensive for me at the moment).
All the calculations should be done by friday 29.
I learned from my last DIY project that planning is fundamental otherwise you end expending 5 times more than expected. I should have ordered the mealworms after the calculations but I want to taste it at least once in my life. Sadly they will be delivered only on 15 february.

Is it cheaper than growing nutritional yeast?
Up front costs might be higher for nutritional yeast, but I'm sure it makes up for it on volume over time.
