/ck/ What is the best alternative for ground beef in chili. brisket? tri tip?
>>7317418
I'd use sirloin. Plenty of it.
cheap stewing beef
just cook it forever or pressure cook it
Cute dog. Would pet.
Rate my diet based on a smattering of recent meals I will will be posting ITT.
Some of these I prepared myself, others are fast food.
Hit me with your worst, /ck/
Pic related: last night's meal, pan fried tilapia steak with sushi on the side.
Carbonara autentica.
Five Guys cheeseburger.
Chili Con Carne (homemade) with sour cream and chives.
Has anyone ever tried this? Is it any good? I'm thinking about ordering a box.
weeb shit
>>7317303
So its just like every other sugary malt liquor? Just weeb shit.
>>7317300
Its stronger and cheaper than conbini beer and was my drink of choice in Japan when I didn't feel like buying actual hard liquor. Grapefruit is pretty shitty but lemon isn't bad although I usually go for Dry if I've tried all the seasonal flavors. Strongs were the only alcohol I brought back after living overseas in Japan that wasn't gifted sake.
Time for a cook-along, I will be making a chicken stir fry, here are the ingredients
>>7317255
thats a lot of dishsoap for your stirfry. every recipe i see recommends only 1 brand
chopped them up
>>7317258
have very small counter space, have to make it count
Wok heating up
Got these for Christmas, treating me well so far.... Just using the 2 big ones to cut veg and meat
Did I do good?
So are you happy with the superbowl match up? I think it's gonna be a pretty good game. Oh, also, remember to always put SAGE in your dishes!
Embarrassing
>>7317289
Why? Better than the £4 super market ones I'd been using
Hey when you're cooking these things are you supposed to leave the water in when they're done?
How I usually do it is like this:
crush up the ramen,
open it up into a bowl,
fill it halfway with water,
cook 4 minutes
take it out
strain the water out,
dump back into bowl
add 6 torn up chicken nuggets
add flavor packet
add half cup soy sauce
stir, enjoy with a sandwich. Usually a chicken patty, sometimes hot ham and cheese.
>>7317118
Could only do that when I was a teenager. I'd get the pork one, boil, drain, mix up the packet and some frank's red hot.
but yeah it's soup, you should have water broth.
>>7317119
>you should have water broth.
Why? With a soup, you actually eat the broth...with ramen noodles you just eat the noodles and are left with a big bowl of salt water to dump out in the sink, it's pointless
>>7317119
>boil, drain, mix up the packet
This is what I do.
Having a bunch of long noodles in a bowl of broth is just retarded.
>hash browns on bottom
>then hamburger patty
>then sasuge
>then eggs on top of that
>cover it up with chili, cheese and onions
fucking simple
I guess that sounds good if you're just a goat who eats trash.
>>7316894
yes please, hot sauce?
>>7316894
This sounds good but honestly would probably be better if plated seperately.
I feel like everything will run together and it will create a poorly-textured mush.
Part of what makes hash browns so yummy is the crunch you get as you bite in and with this method the exterior will be completely soaked.
Also I think it doesn't need the hamburger patty what with the sausage and chili.
Those are just my opinions though and I would probably order/eat that as-is if I see it on a menu.
Have you guys tried carbonara toast yet?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPR0YRa_SZk
more like mayo toast
>>7316917
i hate nips
japanese white bread, mayo, and eggs are all primo. look how yellow that shit is. would eat.
I can't express just how disappointed I am
So disappointed I posted it on a malayan kimchi courtesy club dashboard
>>7316749
What was it supposed to be?
Have you tried this?
I almost did, but the only time I encountered it was at a shitty general store in a rural part of the state I live in, and the last thing I was going to do was walk around with a can that said "Pussy" on it while being called a faggot by a community that didn't want gay marriage.
I mean wanting gay marriage is objectively wrong too
what you should be campaigning for is marriage to be dissolved all together, its just an archaic relic left over from when women were property and men were expected to support them like they are dead weight
I'd buy it though, so long as the pussy is on the outward facing side of the can and not covered by my hand. it would really tie my image together in fact.
>>7316637
The first ingredient was sparkling water so that was a secondary reason but I feel like you're missing the point
>>7316637
Go to bed, Julia Gillard.
Just got done making dinner, what you got for me?
Looks great dude. What spread is that?
Tilapia on to a bed of sauteed mushrooms, carrots, Brussels sprouts, chard and garlic, with a side of red wine/sage aioli
My girlfriend bought me black garlic a while ago, but i don't know what the proper use of it is. I believe it's Korean, so I guess for use of Korean dishes, but what is the difference between it and white garlic?
>>7315896
its fermented.
>>7315906
It says on Wikipedia its caramelized not fermented.

RAWFAGS BTFO

Okay.

I can see thoroughly cooking ground beef, since it's several different cows mushed up together. Also I just don't like the taste of undercooked ground beef.
but steak? either the whole steak will make you sick or none of it will, and that is a risk I'm going to take as an American (God bless)
I mean, yes, some people get sick. I've been eating blue rare my entire life and I'm fine. I have a strong gut.
No breakfast thread. Mine's plain. 3 eggs over easy. Maybe some cheese toast after that.
By the way- if your cheddar is yellow, you're doing it wrong.

How is three eggs a breakfast? You can't even be fucked to post the cheese toast? You're a lazy sack of shit OP. Cash your welfare check so you can afford a breakfast at Waffle House.
Can I get some advice on making mashed potatoes not lumpy?
>>7312361
Potato ricer.
Or just mash them more thoroughly, but slowly (so you don't get sticky potatoes.)
elbow grease
>>7312371
I googled "Potato Ricer" and what I saw was amazing, I've seen those before but never knew
