my cutting board finally split in half and i want to get a new one
also open to repairing this one if anyone has any suggestions
what cutting boards do you guys like?
i remember seeing a thread quite a while ago and there was one brand that a bunch of people seemed to like and it was also dishwasher safe.. ??
the one i had been using since around 2000 looks like pic related ... i got it from a kitchen supply store and i think it was around $75 at the time
What are you doing to a cutting board to make it split in half? Sounds like you need an anvil homie
>>7314525
it's made of pieces of wood glued together
it began separating a few years ago and it finally came apart
>>7314543
Could probably fix with wood glue and a clamp then
>murder beautiful deer in serene woods
BLAM NIGGA YOU DEAH
>harvest steaks, freeze
>thaw, marinade
>ah shit too much
>dont want to eat steak 3 days in a row
>... well I mean I could but it'd be preferable to wait at least a day or two before another steak dinner
What do? It still has marinade on it, though its not sitting in it anymore. Should I just eat it or can I get away with refreezing it? Would that make it disgusting or just less that it would have been to some degree?

I'd put my cock on her shoulder too if you know what I mean.
You kidding? Practically a third of my freezer is filled with venison. It goes great in stew or straight off the grill.
montanabro here, use it in chili. goes great
also give it to your friends, if you have any

Congratulations, you have discovered the innate pretentiousness of "foodies" who you can serve dog food to as long as it has a fancy foreign name.

My girlfriend´s best friend is coming over from far away tomorrow, and I promised I would cook. Problem is, today I was told that she can´t eat gluten, like flour and shit, all kinds of meat(except fish), nuts in general, and eat/drink milk products.
Anyone able to put together a quick and elegant dish for me with these restrictions????
Bump for panic
the fuck kinda fucked up ass female is that?

I know, man. But I put this task on my shoulders, and I can´t pussy out now.
Alright, so my Boyfriends birthday is coming up next month and I wanna surprise him with a cake.
I'm going to make it from scratch, and completely organic.
But I'm wavering on how to decorate it. He's really into Boxing, so I was thinking maybe just a smash cake with boxing gloves on top.
We also met at work, at a pizza place. So I was also thinking about making a pizza cake, with like fruit/candy toppings.
He's very athletic, likes working out, hiking, all that. So maybe something related to that?
He's turning 23..
Any suggestions?

At least make the hands a darker color, fucking Christ. Can barely see the hands at all.
Not enough jelly for the prolapse either.
Horribly decorated, 2/10,
Two points for trying to be humorous and possible decent flavor.

OP came here for advice. It's unlikely that his is going to look any better.

Nachos.
Nachos.
Nachos.
I plan on making nachos this weekend, /ck/. And not just any nachos, the fucking BEST nachos ever. A giant plate of GLORIOUS NACHOS. Since I'll be making them for everyone in the house and not just me, I want to have a sort of "nacho bar" where everyone can pile on what they want. I have metal platters, so we can slide the nachos under the broiler to make the cheese all bubbly, as well.
Tell me, /ck/, what would you put on your dream nachos?
>>7317571
They're called 'chos bro
Refried beans and guacamole are the two most neglected delicious toppings
Kalua pork nachos man. Had them once in Hawaii. Ruined all other nachos for me.
I need your help ck, I was in a cringe thread and someone linked a video to an older guy making a grilled cheese and it was super "well done" and had a general shittiness to the overall quality
Anyone know who that guy was? It could be a troll channel but I want to find it anyway

But there's so many kinds...
hello senpai
anyone cook with these bad boys?
I do...Well, at least once a week I make the same old curry i really like.
Anyone can share some ideas on what else to cook? Please note I don't really like butternut pumpkin all that much, hokkaido is my fav for sure
Put your oven on moderate heat.
Cut in half, from top to bottom.
Scoop out the seeds.
Drizzle olive oil on the pumpkin, then season with a little salt and pepper.
Put it in the oven, the interior facing upwards.
Bake for atleast 30 minutes, 40 is better.
While its cooking...
Heat up a frying pan on moderate.
Put in tiny amount of olive oil and about a small handfull of pancetta/lardons (or bacon chunks if you cant get those). Fry till nearly cooked.
Add a clove of minced garlic, stir.
Add whole sage leaves, stir till the garlic is cooked and the leaves are slightly crispy.
Get the pumpkin out.
Put the frying pan mix into the little hollows of the pumpkin.
Put about two to three tablespoons of marscapone cheese on top of the pan mix.
Grate some parmasan cheese on top of that.
Put back in the oven for about 10 mins, or until the cheese looks slightly melty and the parmasan is golden.
Serve and enjoy.

or just roast some 1 inch cubes with bacon and feta in the oven.
