What are ya drinking right now?
Jim Beam's Small Batch.
Pretty awful when opened, but after letting it sit open for a few days most of the port has evaporated, leaving a pretty decent cheap whiskey.
I drink almost exclusively water. In a side note when at a fancy hotel a few months back, in the fridge there were a couple bottles of this pink lemonade soda. I fucking loved it but to buy it online was super expensive. Does anyone have any ideas on where I could get something similar for cheaper?

Totally, the chicken noodle soup my father used to cook when me and my brother were children. I tried to cook it back on november and it was pretty accurate, I followed the recipe of course, it kinda reminded me how joyfull I was in my childhood.
Hi guys. I'm trying to work out whats in campari. the recipe is a secret. Could someone please help me uncover the recipe?
>>7323386
Its the peels of blood oranges, red dye + sugar, basically.
I'm more interested in the herbs and spices that they use
Sorry to jump in on your thread OP but I've got a similar question.
What is in Cinzano?
Is it spiced white wine of some sort. I've seen it mentioned in some mixed drinks but you only use small amounts, does the bottle keep well after opening?
What does /ck/ think of this guy's reviews of old ass MRE that he actually eats.
Shits hilarious if you ask me.

Have any of you knuckleheads worked in a restaurant that could be featured on Kitchen Nightmares? Any stories?
Yes, but it wasn't for any outstanding reasons, just an old menu, poor decor and bad food.

i was going to say the only time it happened to me was i got a job at an italian place and the first time I went into the freezer it was horribly unlabeled with a bunch of rotting or moldy food. I asked the owner if it was always like that and he basically said "you don't have to work here if you don't want." I took that as a sign that management and the back of the house didn't get along too well so I said "bye then" and left. They're still in business but it's mostly because of all the old people who have been going there since the 70s. Nobody who eats there is under 50

Yes
>Chef was 6'11 and 3 like 400 pounds
>Used to have a chair at the kitchen
>Would always arrive late
>Would sell expired food
>kitchen never would get clean unless i took intiative
>chef would steal booze and drink it at work
>etc
I quit the place and they closed down 3 months later, not because i left tho, that place was doomed.

What do you think about tipping culture?
Where I live, waitstaff get minimum wage or more, depending on the place. Why am I expected to give them extra money for doing their job like they're supposed to? This just seems a custom from a bygone era.

Good salty snacks to eat? I usedd to eat a bag of chips per night, but then I'd shit them all out in the morning and I'd have to shit 3 times to actually get it all out and it wasn't nice on my stomach.
I've been eating pretzel sticks for the past few weeks and they're fine on my stomach but I'm starting to get bored of them and they're tasting bland.
Any suggestions on what to go to now for a nice salty filling snack?
Cook meals you actually enjoy and avoid snacking on junk food.
You'll end up putting much more effort into your real food and enjoy it more.
>>7323599
Suggestions for foods that are cheap and fast to cook up for snacks? I like the ease of just reaching to my side for the bag of chips or pretzels when I want a bite to eat
