So don't really have that much countertop space but I do have one of these in a cupboard. I would like to start using,

So I want to know how offend would I need to change the oil? Can I filter the oil after its been used so many times? Will it get a nasty tasty quickly if I fire fish one day and the other fires.

Lets say one day I want to use it for a deep fried snickers bar. Could I use it the next for some tasty fires?

When I am not using it I will be storing it away. As it would be maybe used like 2 twice in a month.

Change the oil every 5-10 fry sessions.
Yes, you can and should filter the oil for storage.
As long as the oil is the correct temp, it will take a few fry's before it takes on any flavor.

When we use ours we get any pieces of batter/breadcrumbs/etc out of the oil after use and store the whole inner tub cling wrapped in the fridge.

You will also find that after several uses the oil will start to break down, especially if you are frying frozen foods as water leaches into the oil.

Fat or muscle? If muscle, high intensity no more than three times a week (preferably once every three days) while doing L-carnintine supplements every morning and L-arginine supplements every night does a good job.

If you mean fat, just eating whatever forever will probably work.

>buy a jar of ready made thai green chilli paste to experiment

Any suggestions on making it less salty?

Read the ingredients on the label and cut the salt.

Seriously. This works for a lot of things.

On average how many times do you eat burgers a week?
25 posts and 4 images submitted.
>>
As a red blooded 'murrican who loves burgers, I only eat one maybe once every month or two.
>>
>>7358138
One a week usually. There's a nice little burger joint near where I live that has my number.
>>
>>7358138
Probably around 4 or 5 times a year for hamburgers. However I've recently taken to eating veggie burgers (particularly morningstar sweet potato and quinoa burgers) about once every week.

Philly cheesesteak or Chinese Food

chinese food

get something Szechuan.
>>
It depends

if I give up chinese buffet do I get to have philly cheesesteak buffets?

I was always taught to fry chopped onions and only after that was done, put in the minced meat. Why does that make any sense? You just risk burning the onions like that.

I started doing it the other way around (meat first, then onions/garlic) after I moved for myself.

Is one better than the other, and why?
16 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Onions take up the flavors of the spices in the oil, and if you want to caramelize them you need the direct heat. It's impossible to burn them this way unless you burn everything else as well because once you put the meat in the heat becomes more broadly distributed.

Burnt onions are delicious anyway.
>>
I personally prefer to brown and render out the fat from the beef, remove it, then do the aromatics in the remaining fat.
>>
>>7357523
Onions won't caramelize if you add them to the meat instead of cooking them first. If you cook the meat first, and add the onions after, you're not really sauteing them, you're steaming them till soft. It doesn't create optimum flavor. Unless you are impatient and are cooking your onions on high heat, they won't burn.
That said, garlic is a very different story. Garlic is easy to burn, which creates a bitter flavor.
So, cook your onions first, until they caramelize, then add the meat and garlic, and cook till the meat has browned.
