I just had Harissa.
Put huge daubs of it on a flatbread wrap filled with hummus and dolmas. Drank a really nice, spicy ale on the side. It was a really easy meal to make and now I'm feeling really toasty and nice. The only thing that could make this meal better is if you voyar á mes dobles, por favor.
I hope you're doing well, anon.

perfect. the perfect meal. the perfect thread. the perfect night.
Anon has found what closely resemble psilocybe mushrooms. However little brown mushrooms are very difficult to identify.
Anyone have any experience with identifying shrooms? (Technically food?)
>>7364605
Look like death caps, wouldn't eat them.
Snap any part, and if in some time it starts turning blue, its psilocybin
>>7364605
I have a bit of experience identifying mushrooms.
However, those are not the mushrooms I can identify.
Where do you live and where did you find them (on a log, in an open field, under dead leaves, etc..)?
While i was cleaning squids, i found this squid's inside skin texture isn't slimy like others.
It felt rough, and theres tiny bubbles everywhere with strange smells. is this squid spoiled? i bought about 7 squids and 5 of them are like this...
if it smells in any way off I would be second guessing it..
your nose knows

Wings are easy, but how does one go about making spicy drumsticks where the spice is in the meat and not just the exterior.
I'm looking to make spicy fried chicken similar to Popeyes, but with a ton more kick.
I marinated a couple drumsticks in buttermilk for 24 hours, then added a hefty portion of pic related to the buttermilk, and am marinating for another 24 hours (I heard the acidic properties cut through the chicken which is why it comes out so tender)
For breading, I'll be using panko breadcrumbs with extra hot old bay, paprika, garlic/onion/chili powder, flour and egg wash.
Is this the way to go /ck/? If not, what are some recommendations for spicy fried chicken?
>>7364373
You could try injecting some kind of spicy marinade into the drumsticks and letting them marinate overnight.
Sup cu/ck/s
Whats the stupidest/weirdest/regrettable thing you've done in a Restaurant or Diner?
Whenever me and my friend get a bad/snobby Waiter, we crumble up a bunch of tiny bread crumbs in the fancy napkins they give you, and bundle it up so when you unroll it, it just explodes bread everywhere.
Judge me all you want. Lets hear some shit.

Okay, so the verdict is ITS ALL THE SAME FUCKING SHIT.
Why do they even bother. Is the American public so fucking stupid that they'd fall for these faggot marketing schemes? And why does the ground beef one cost more than the one made with chicken breast?

They're yummy, OP.
Beef prices are up.
I'm thinking of going to Utah this year because it looks tits amazing. Is there anything good to eat there though? What do people in Utah like to eat?
Make sure to pick up some magical underpants while you're there.
No.
You go to Utah for the nature; there's no civilization there.
>tits amazing
Alright reddit, I can help you out. There are lots of pretty interesting places to eat. If you're there in the spring/summer (assuming you're going to go there for the outdoors) you can stop by Hell's Backbone Grill. They've got their own farm. In Salt Lake itself, there're a ton of places. Most of the mid/high-end stuff is going to be modern American. There are tons of <$10 places in the city from every ethnicity. Lots of pretty good Mexican. Check out the Red Iguana and their moles.
I just recently realized that not many fast food joints, or restaurants in general, serve pork dishes. Panda express for example, has no pork and it's suppose to be a chinese restaurant. And a lot of local chinese restaurants here in west texas also have no pork, or have it on their menu, but don't serve it. What the fuck.
>>7364084
Do you not have a P.F. Chang's around where you live? They have good pork dumplings.
Also, try BBQ joints for pork. They're truly American and thankfully repel all kinds of jews and mudslimes.
Americans don't really eat as much pork I guess. Chinese food changed a lot in America to better suit American tastes.
that's weird, east texas here and i see plenty of pork dishes. lots of pulled pork, pork in tacos, pork at our chinese food places (shredded garlic pork is pretty good shit yo). and obviously lots of bacon everywhere
>Normal italian food: delicious pizza with ranch and boneless buffalo wings, just the way god (who doesn't exist tips fedora) intended. Best washed down with a six pack of hopped up DIPA just the way god (who doesn't exist) intended
>"Authentic" italian food: colorless bland garbage in a cold slimy sauce that smells like a yeast infection. Meanwhile some pretentious fuck is pouring a glass of ''''gavi di gavi'''' (whatever the fuck that is) while sneering at you and says if you don't pretend you can taste the honeydew melon and tomboy notes of mountain heather and cat piss, you're going to get thrown out of the restaurant and forced to pay a 20% tip
Why does anyone even pretend to like pretentious, disgusting, overpriced, underwhelming "authentic" memefood?
Why did you make this thread?

Nowhere else to turn. Is lasagna a thing, or a collective of things?
Seems silly, but temporaly tied to how we use language nowadays.
I have baking (as I type, mind you... ) a glass dish filled with layers of flat noodles, cheeses, spinach, and a meat/veggie sauce.
Am I baking lasagna?
Am I baking a lasagna?
>>7363620
It doesn't matter.
>>7363620
It's a dish, which is one word describing a specific arrangement of ingredients. Happens all the time in language.
You could say I'm running as fast as possible, or say I'm sprinting. One is quicker to say.
You have autism
It's "a lasagna" OP, as the lasagna is considered a complete thing which is then separated for serving.
Same with 'a casserole' or 'a cake'.
But that's really being technical, it's not that concerning.
