Besides spice rubs, is there any use for this other than sheer laziness?

I use it for garlic bread because I can never slice garlic thinly enough to even out the flavor on the bread.
That's only for dry garlic powder though. Most minced garlic I see comes in some fucking solution and it makes garlic bread taste like ass
How do you like to fry your friends, /ck/?
>write a cookbook
>name it something that will get people to post pictures online and joke about it
>make money
I own it, and never even thought about that, kek.
It's a pretty solid book. I'd recommend it.
I made something similar to the picture tonight, and I was totally expecting the worst, but these kipper snacks were actually pretty good. It only smelled vaguely of the ocean, and the taste was really mild, I've probably had stronger canned salmon. It wasn't even salty at all. Why aren't these more popular?
I think I'm going to try sardines next. Then maybe shellfish. This canned shit is really neat.

That's fine. Everybody who can afford it should have at least a month's worth of canned fish at all times. You never know when civilization is going to have a glitch.
Kippers are a great breakfast food, too.
Canned salmon is shit tier then it comes to canned fish.
You should really try some good anchovies.

Ah bakers. They are the craziest of the culinarians, to be sure. Waking up at 2am every day and doing 12s 6 days a week will do that to you.
Damn fine folk though.
What's your favorite espresso drink and roast /ck/? I love cortados and dogwood neon.

I've been watching Scott Rea for a while now. He's a butcher who has some very down to earth and delicious recipes.
Really comfy watching, especially with the gf.

Either way it is very interesting and worth a watch. Covers a lot of the sociological reasons we eat the food that we do and breaks down the science behind making various types of food.
