foods that help you get through your diet

My last diet pretty much failed because I couldn't stomach eating flavourless stuff like cucumbers and green beans anymore. The existence of vinegar probably accounts for 20% of my weight loss...

Quick question, is whole grain bread suitable for a diet? I'm hearing confusing things about it...
>eat whole grain, you won't be as hungry and it's healthy
>don't eat whole grain, it's too energy dense, you will get even fatter
?

whole grain bread is great for a diet. but don't put butter, cheese, cream cheese, jam jelly, etc on the bread. eat it plain, or with some othe rlow fat low sugar food, like soup or chili.
What's the healthiest thing on their menu?

Bottled water

water. I hear they have alright coffee now. I haven't tried it as it'd mean going into one of their stores and giving them money and consuming their garbage

It's pretty good senpai.
Sup.
What's your favorite ways to pimp a bowl of ramen? Cheap ingredients preferred.
I usually throw flvor pack away, add chicken stock, ginger, garlic and soy sauce. For toppings I use ham, boiled egg and green onion.
so it's your own soup with instant noodles added
Does the saturated fats and sodium sit in the flavoring pack or the noodles itself?
Top: tomato-pesto
Bottom: baked potato
Which would you choose?
Both
Are you retarded? Potatoes on pizza?
Tomato pesto, easy.
>Bulacan’s queen of pastillas wrapper passes away
https://archive.is/gm4kP
CITY OF MALOLOS, Philippines — Bulacan’s queen of pastillas wrappers has passed away.
Luz “Nene” Ocampo, the last known artisan who made intricate paper cut designs for pastillas wrappers, died from a lingering ailment on Sunday night, Feb. 21, at her home here. She was 93.
Her body lies at their house in Barangay Caniogan.
Ocampo was born and raised in San Miguel town, where the famous San Miguel de Mayumo sweet carabao milk candy, known as pastillas, was manufactured.
She was a grade V pupil when she was first taught the art of producing traditional pastillas wrappers.
Over the years, she passed her craft to deserving artists, who followed in her footsteps.
The craft has designs for every occasion. If the pastillas is meant for a wedding, the wrappers carry the engraved names of the couple, for example.

I have just realized the irony that the contestant I am most likely to root for on a reality cooking series is also the contestant I most want to eat.
Humans have a shit meat to weight ratio and take way too long to mature. That Also means they can accumulate more toxins.
Horrible choice of food source.
>>7402562
Yeah. I wrote something once about the alien FDA banning consumption of humans due to all of the drugs and other garbage we put in our system.
Pic related. Another cheftestant I would like to *eat*
If you don't brush your teeth and floss after every meal, you are uncultured swine
>>7402271

>Brushing after eating

What cheese blend does McDonald's typically use for their hamburgers? Its more refined than simple cheddar, but lacks the Bite of a jack. Any previous McCuck's know what cheese they using?
>>7399446
>Its more refined than simple cheddar
That's definitely true
>>7399460
oh snap
their "american" cheese is less sweet and less tart than say, Kraft singles.
Essentially its completely bland.

Over the last 8 years everything has been fine. But recently the cucumber slices I keep over my eye have been falling by the wayside. This is a slimy mess what do you all do to keep them in place?
>>7406161
There's a thread for this, look for QTDDTOT
>>7406161
soak them in balsamic vinegar and get drunk first

Eat the fucking cucumbers
I have cooked chicken, cream cheese, and pasta. Is there any recipe I can make with this?
>>7406059
Chicken salad
Heat the cream cheese with butter and stir until it's a sauce and you can make a ghetto chicken alfredo, parmesan helps
you can try mixing up the cream cheese with whatever dairy's on hand for an alfredo sauce
What exactly is the cooking process of a pancake called, specifically?
It's not baking, right? Because you don't do it an oven. You do to pancakes... whatever you do to eggs, right? What is that verb? Is there even a specific verb?
>>7406058
Frying or griddling, I guess
>>7406058
Frying?
>>7406058
It's frying.
You're cooking batter in oil. Only difference between pancakes and funnel cakes for example is technique.
