does preferring to cook with chicken over beef make me less of a home cook?

what i mean is that beef has more cuts, as well as being able to be eaten without being cooked all the way. but i'm more likely to grab a chicken filet out of the freezer if i'm cooking for myself tonight. also no, protein/MUH GAINZ has nothing to do with it

but vegetables more so. 40% increase in colorectal cancer actually

but why is that?
well because in order to compensate for the lack of fatty acids the body takes in, it needs to make use of what you are putting in to it. The result is an inflammation response to vegetable oils which as we know

cancer mothercucker

My friends I tell you, it was one of the best meals I have had this year. The crisp vegetables mixed with the moist and hot broiled burger. The cool soda, the hot and crunch fries, totally blown away.

I was able to get a value meal for $5.99 and they even complimented my shirt. They don't let black people touch your food and they also have ice cream.

Head on down to Burger King today and get yourself some good mood food. You won't regret it!!

A #1
with cheese no tomato
with a coke and onion rings instead of fries is my go-to meal when I go to BK. Pretty tasty.

I fucking love chicken fries. Don't know why. They're just the right amount of spicy when I'm being a lazy fuck and don't want to cook for myself.

i tried those like 2 months ago because i didn't know they brought them back, and they were the most disappointing thing i've ever had at burger king. dry, expensive for the amount you get, and doesn't taste like much on its own

What's your favourite kind of frozen veggies? How do you like to coock them?

I usually just throw them in a pan with olive oil and garlic and use some soy sauce or tabasco.

(I know i should get them fresh but i like to keep frozen as backup if i'm too busy)

frozen green beans. every day for months i would fry them in a pan with olive oil and garlic, add canned tomatoes, paprika, salt+pepper, lemon, then add some couscous and hot water to the pan and let it sit before eating. fucking delicious but im over it
>>
frozen sweet green peas. Thankfully the generic brand at my local supermarket is high quality. So I buy a dozen big bags of peas when I go. Goes great with chili.

Broccoli is pretty good. It may have been blanched, and you're probably going to cook it. This destroys heat sensitive myrosinase enzymes that turn heat stable glucoraphanin into the antioxidant sulforaphane which is also heat stable. You can bring its sulforaphane content back up to that of raw by eating it with some ground mustard seeds.

I just learned people microwave Bacon. Do you do this?

What's your favorite way to do steak? I'll usually season a tenderloin with salt and pepper, sear it for 3 minutes on each side, pop it in the oven for 4 minutes at 425F, then take it out and baste it with Dijon mustard and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Perfection.

Not a fan of Sirloin steak, without a good sauce, a flavoring or fat, it doesn't taste like much.

I like Ribeye steak the best. Flavorful, meaty, juicy. Best in the west like they say

I have no clue about pots or pans. Please link me to a good one or name one for the following

-fry pan or skillet, they are the same thing right?
-all purpose pot, for soups or things like chili
-some sort of oven safe pan, to transfer seared meats to the oven

Also maybe elaborate on the generally trusted brands for such things?

No...I've been doing the boxed shit for years...just don't let the leftovers sit in the pot...it'll harden into concrete...

Another hint, use coffee cream instead of milk, and if you can get the 'Potatoho' brand...
>>
>>7520241
It's super easy to make your own, and they taste better imo. Uses only one pot and potatoes are versatile as shit so buying a bag has many uses.

just boil cubed potatoes (the water added should be cold) until tender, drain, and mash. You can then style them however you want to. I tend to use milk, butter, sour cream, some cheese, paprika, cayenne, cumin, s&p, then whatever else I feel like adding at that time.

mashing yourself allows you to control consistency too.
>>
>>7520341

>boil cubed potatoes

Don't do this, potatoes will have too much water and you'll get shitty mashed potatoes. Instead just boil whole or half potatoes until tender and if you can invest in a potato ricer, makes the mashed taters really fluffy, then add butter and milk and you're pretty much set.
