Ok guys, I need some help.
Now I love beans, don't get me wrong, but for the life of me I CANNOT seem to do it so that they don't cause me SEVERE gas and bloating.
I have tried overnight soaking before cooking along with the addition of salt, and have even gone so far as to inoculate them with a pro-biotic, all to no avail.
I have heard epazote may be a decent choice for reducing gas as a carminative, but I honestly have no ideas.
Has anyone found a way to do it? If so please share. My relationship with beans is on the line here :P

i find that it's sufficient to touch my vagina before preparing the beans. the bacterial culture mellows out the beans effects.
just get used to it, nothin nicer than cookin a pot of beans without soaking them on saturday nite and sittin around ripping HUGE farts and smellin em till the wee hours of the morning, chuckling softly each time :D
The length of the soak makes a difference for me, as well as the number of rinses
A 2 day soak with 3 full drain and rinse cycles helps quite a bit
Okay, /ck/. I've got some pork stock I made last night. What can I do with it besides shit like soup?
>>7564808
soup dumplings if it's thick enough
Cook beans with it
tonkotsu ramen is best ramen
How do I activate my almonds? I've been trying for twelve hours now.
>>7564698
Soak them in bleach
Don't forget to drink the activated bleach solution
>>7564698
Did you set the electrolysis machine to the right wattage?
About half of all almonds are activated before they're put in packets OP, you need to look for the logo on the packet. You need to be careful though because if you try to activate pre-activated almonds it can be quite toxic.

God damn son. Is that like triple pepperoni? It actaully looks good to me because i love pepperoni. I sometimes get the peppernoi lovers from pizza hut or papa johns. Also, did you order that pizza well done? If so, nice move

Really hope you're not fat but I love how hot wings and beer taste. 6.5/10
Post your favourite drinks, recipes you love, even shit that's been discontinued but brings you nostalgia. Just bought a couple of latte glasses and they make any drink look fucking chill. I'd drink ranch from these things.
1. Grab glass
2. Pour whiskey
3. Drink
It's a great drink but a little tricky to make after a few
>>7564330
us alkys amirite? xd
Nice summer drink. Most bartenders around here don't know what the fuck it is, though.
Is there a way to make them without overcooking them?
Also, what's the best steeping liquid.
m8 those look like fckin dinosaur eggs destroy them now
well that shee looks interesting. gtta try em sometime.
>>7564295
>Is there a way to make them without overcooking them?
Since people have been making them for centuries I suppose so.
Also I'd really like to try a century egg.
Okay guys, it's time to buy some new knives. I have no idea where to start but I want to buy the best possible, so I'm asking for your help. Young electrical engineer, so assume that money isn't an issue.
>>7564222
>best possible
for what task?
>>7564232
Any and all? As I said, I really have no idea, as I'm just now getting acquainted with cooking
>>7564238
>I really have no idea
That's painfully obvious.
If you're starting out you don't need a large set of knives. Get the following:
A Chef's knife
A serrated knife for bread
Maybe a paring knife if you see yourself doing little delicate stuff
.....and a means of sharpening the above.
how often do you drink chocolate milk?
Never, because I'm an adult. I drink water, coffee and beer.
>>7563536
That literally looks like shit.
everyday for breakfast
and because im an adult, im not so insecure that i need to justify my drinking habits
Redpill me on Peanut Spread, /ck/.
The ingredients don't actually look that bad. "Natural roasted peanut flavor" is a bit shady.
why would you eat something like that when you can eat peanutbutter? are these like $.25 a jar?
>>7562930
Apparently they're closer to $5.00 a jar so I honestly can't see the appeal.
What do you think of McDonald's new signature range of burgers?
A desperate marketing ploy or a step in the right direction?
Also I think the table service is very good however they always forget to bring ketchup for my chicken tenders.
>>7562681
So... same burger, different sauces?
I will never know because I do not believe in sullying my burgers with pleb filler ingredients like lettuce, tomatoes, and onions.
I just don't understand how one could even consider going to McDonald's when they could instead have a delicious Whopper from Burger King. Professional staff, no black people touching your food, and the promise that every time you eat there you can have it your way? McDonalds simply can't compare.
Why have I never seen an ad for bread on tv before?
I think sara lee used to run ads.
Dunno.

weren't those for cakes?
Alright /ck/ I'm tired of eating takeaway and frozen pies every day, I'd like to try eating healthy. I can find a fishmonger in Grismby but I've no real idea on what to do with the slippery fellow once back home.
In short: How on earth do I properly cook fish in a pan? Any easy recipes?
>>7561045
Well I see a few things in that picture I'm not a fan of. Snip off those little fins on the side and underside
>>7561053
It's a stock photo from Google lad
What kind of fish did you buy mate
>google search [insert fish type] easy recipe
>trawl through the practically endless results until you find one you might like
>???
>profit
Pretty much all fish you can just descale, fillet, then pan fry, skin side down until cooked. Serve with asparagus or green beans, etc

What are your honest feelings on Gordon Ramsay, /ck/?
Rage and lust.
I like the /comfy/ Ramsay shows like Ultimate Cookery and basically everything on YouTube.
Do me a favor yeh?
Fuck off
I have boneless chicken breasts, blue cheese dressing, pasta, pizza sauce, eggs, bacon, and tomatoes. What can I make for dinner? I have some other ingredients and seasonings, but not much.
Shove it up your ass
>>7564787
I was going to suggest this. You really can't go wrong shoving food up your ass.
Buffalo chicken carbonara.
