Home made refried beans.
>>7588494
open the can all by yourself?
>>7588509
Naw. Cooked, fried, and mashed the beans myself.
>>7588494
They need to be well fried not par fried. Put it back on the stove and mash it up some more too. I hope you didn't forget plenty of salt
What's wrong with my bacon?
>>7588422
it's haram
>>7588422
Looks like it's about 95% fat and it's undercooked.
Terrible bacon, you should be ashamed
>>7588424
It's not that I decide the amounts of fat in bacon you know
Best dish for a handful of green beans other than sauteeing?
Sous vide
Wrap bunches of them in bacon! Super tasty.
Watch out, OP. I think there might be a spider hiding under those.
Hey all, first time posting here. I've been scavenging the internet for madame jeanette (pic related) recipes but to no avail.
I was wondering if you guys have any hot/spicy pepper recipes you'd like to share. Chilli's are good too.
Why don't you grow peppers that people actually use
>>7588207
Already on it. Just bell peppers and chilly peppers.
I was thinking of making a sandwich spread with chicken, mango and madame jeanette but it seems incomplete somehow.
>>7588197
Those taste very similar to habaneros so any recipe calling for habs will work great.
IMHO the citrusy sort of taste works best paired with fish or pork. If you want to make sauces or salsas then go with fruit-based types.
>>7588207
They're a very common pepper, just not in your little corner of flyoverland.
Rate my pseudo eggs Benedict.

I've got a gallon of Gatorade concentrate. What should I do with it besides make tons of Gatorade?
>>7588040
Why add water? Just do shots of it, who can be bothered mixing in the water.
So that is just water, salt, and potassium? Why do people buy this shit?

What neat things can I do with canned tuna?
>>7587946
Use as bait to catch that damn feral cat that's been pissing in my workshop.
That's honestly the only thing I can think of to use it for. I love tuna in general, but for some reason once it's canned it tastes like satan's asshole.
Attract lots of pussy.
As in neighbourhood stray cats
>>7587946
make a spread out of it with some hardboiled eggs mayo + whatever the fuck you want
about the only way i use it because otherwise it just tastes like metallic can
Why do people always refer to eggs as 'delicious'?
Eggs don't have any flavor.
They're pretty much just colored, puffy, solid water.
Wood has more flavor than fucking eggs.
Why do people like eggs so much?
They're so boring.
They're alright if you mix them with other ingredients, in order to bind things or whatever, but eggs on their own have no flavor or value.
>>7587913
when are you gonna finish your memoirs OP can you fax the manuscript over asap
>>7587913
>Eggs don't have any flavor.
Stop buying factory-farmed bullshit anon, and you'll discover that good eggs are amazingly flavorful.
What pork to beef ratio must I use to make the perfect meatballs, /ck/?
>>7587886
0:1
>>7587886
10% or 15%, much more and it's going overboard, especially if the pork is fatty.
>>7587979
You could also use a 97/3 ground beef and add the pork, substituting the fat content from the beef to the pork fat instead.
Coffee is shit. If you don't make it tolerable with cream & sugar, it's bitter shit. If you let it get cold, it's bitter shit. There is literally no reason to drink coffee. There's a handful of reasons not to, though. You're literally steeping seeds into water for a cocktail of heavy metals and pesticides, and it's making you demented.
Now tea, tea's the shit. Tea's where it's at. Tea's gone cold, you're wondering why? Doesn't matter. it's just as delicious as a hot brewed cup, perhaps even moreso. Tea's got all sortsa anti-occident goodies in it. Coffee will just stain your mouth. The dental industry is probably ecstatic that there're so many same-ass hivemind idiot coffee drinkers openly willing to destroy their dental situation with dirtwater. More business for those mouth-poking dolts. Makes me sick. Coffee.. 'the fuck out my face with that crap.

I never used to like coffee, until I tried pic related. Absolutely glorious, this thread is pure blasphemy.
How do you make the best Margarita in the world? Wanna get wasted on sugar and salt. Will post results tonight if I can get the thread going. Post recipes, dos/don'ts, shit like that.
I was considering making a simple syrup using agave syrup and water
Squeezing some limes up
Ice 2 cups or so
Tequila (not sure which)
Triple Sec
Dog food
And some mint

I've been vestedly reading up on nutrition on and off for the last 6+ months and I'm seeing a dietician shortly. I'm starting to really get into this shit and even considering taking a PhD.
Anyway, here's some general stuff I've learned which has been super useful, call me out on anything that sounds like bullshit and add any nutrition info/tips
Hemp is a complete and higher protein source than fish or meat, it also has a 1/4 omega 3/6 ratio which is pretty damned good if you like your auto immune system and brain synapses working properly
Vegetable oils are pretty much all trash with the exception of Coconut Oil, Butter, Lard and Olive Oil in that order. This is because they're packed with harmful fats and void of good fats. Coconut Oil is cheap, stores better, arguably tastes better and doesn't contain too much omega 6.
Eating more vegetables is almost always the best choice you can make for your diet. Aiming to eat less sugar or less X Y Z is psychologically difficult whereas eating more vegetables is usually a lot easier and changes your tastes and gut flora over time thus making you more likely to eat more, it also helps you feel fuller and get more fibre and the plethora of other benefits.
Fish and insects are the best sources of protein and red meat, while not bad for you in moderation, has all sorts of links to cancer and heart disease when eaten often, especially when processed.
Cooking any starchy food in dairy/nut oil/fish oil and leaving it for 12+ hours will change the structure of the starches and reduce the calories significantly.
Skimmed & Semi Skimmed milk is the most widely subscribed to meme in the west. Whole milk contains far more healthy fats and only a few more calories and has been shown to reduce the chances of all types of diabetes and many other auto immune diseases by nearly 50%
You can reduce most credible and good nutrition/diet advice down to a few components:
>Eat as varied a diet as feasible
>Eat as fresh as possible
Sweet blog
>reading about stuff anyone who browses /fit/ knows
>considering taking a PhD
top laugh my man

>>hemp
what kind of food is hemp? I dont see it much in stores, I know its used for rope and clothes. is it an oil you mean? AFAIK there are lots of oils that contain a lot of omega 3 that aren't usable by the body without refinement by the body, which becomes a rather large bottleneck. Flax seed oil is the big problem, but i haven't heard anything about hemp.
I've heard whispers of polysaturated fat not being all that great for you compared to saturated fat when you account for omega 3/6 ratios, but I find it pretty hard to believe, so i'd be interested to hear a dietitions opinion on that, coconut oil especially, since it seems to contain so much saturated fat. It's hard to believe it's good for me. Finding a decent brand of olive oil would also be useful.
Also interested to hear about that opinion on whole milk too.
Name a better cereal.
