By that logic the arts and crafts store owes me millions because I didn't draw a masterpiece on the canvas they sold me.
Tell us about your eating experiences during your travels abroad.
it was fine.
lived in Japan for a few years. i was always a picky eater, but being a broke student, I didn't have much choice. was mostly pleasantly surprised.
also, my friend visited South America with his wife, ate Street food, and got really sick. turns out he had an amoeba.

Spent a few weeks in Costa Rica. Lovely country, and I wish I could go back. Didn't like the cities, though, I spent most of my time in the very rural areas.
how much soda do you drink per day?
2l of diet coke/pepsi max. Whichever's on sale.
None. I'll have a can or bottle sporadically, but not enough to be able to document it.
I do drink 0 calorie rockstars for my weekend job though. One for Saturday and one for sunday.
>Alcohol is a carcinogen
My God, should I swear off booze now? Why does nobody care that alcohol causes cancer?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol_and_cancer
Nearly everything has the potential to cause cancer. It's literally "pick your poison ".
Even the air you are breathing causes cancer. The only way to avoid it is to kill yourself
After your 20s, life stops being something you dearly want to hold onto. Drink up.

Hey /ck/ I am curious about what your secret ingredients are in your favorite recipes, or if there is some recipe that you make and add just a bit of something that makes it much better.
I put just a pinch of smoked paprika in scrambled eggs and one of white pepper in mashed potatoes. I also steam my vegetables in stock.
i put garam masala in a lot of stuff
love that shit
My secret ingredient is adding more salt, butter, oil or sugar.

I have a date next week, and I'm planning on cooking an extravagant meal but she has very simple tastes and her favorite thing is grilled cheeses with old cheddar and she pretty much exclusively drinks vodka with cranberry juice.
How do I make a grilled cheese and a side that gets the pussy wet?
You don't have to make her favourite meal for dinner.
>>7637576
That looks fried not grilled?

I'm not asking for dating advice here just trust me that in this particular case, it is a good idea.
Lets have fun :)
Why is American bread so sweet compared to the rest of the world?

Been trying to make really dark Honey Wheat bread for a while. (I was told that's what the bread at the Outback Steakhouse was).
How do they get it so dark? I must know.
What if I told you that this was your dinner, and you had to finish it all or face certain death?
>>7634094
Looks like burnt ass bread
>>7634094
looks like crap, give me death
>>7634096
Nope, it's braised pork, tuna, and head cheese.
Best kind? Best ways to prepare it?
You're going to have to be way more specific than that.
I love me some basics...
Tuna avacado roll
Salmon avacado roll
My kids like a veggie roll
Cucumber, avacado, carrot shreds, and a few sprouts. I usually roll that in sesame seeds for them.
Wife gets all fancy sometimes, but I actually prefer the simple stuff where the flavor of the rice and fish stand alone.
Thik and cold
Why do people hate Tilapia so much? Plentiful pest fish for everyone
>>7627711
Tastes like shit
For one, they say it's dangerous to human health and the environment. For another, raising/farming it is both cheap and easy, so there's no reason it should ever cost as much as it does in some stores.
There's no reason it should ever cost more than a buck or two per pound, depending on if you buy it filleted or whole.
Farmed tilapia (which, let's be honest, is the vast, vast, vast, vast, VAST majority of tilapia sold anywhere) has barely any flavour to it. It's got a neutral taste.
>>7627733
Where are you that tilapia costs much more than $2/pound?
Fishy, fishy, fishy fish.
Your turn, Bongistan.
Love, NorCal.
