>made with real lemons
What the fuck is with american advertising and the use of the word 'real'? Real lemons, as opposed to what, fake? Does anyone make lemonade with fake lemons? How does it taste?
>>7888122
It tastes okay. Real lemons as opposed to citric acid alone. Many citrus tasting products will just use citric acid.
What is your #1 cooking tip?
>don't put to much onions in the sauce

ketchup goes with anything
You get a more even crisp by letting the food warm up with the oil.
Are these the greatest chips ever made?
>>7887847
No. They aren't very good.
I've drove by there factory on Airline a few times.
The trailers are loaded with unpacked potatoes. Like, they're not in bags or crates. It's like somebody took a shovel and threw them in the back of tractor trailer.
Kind of interesting, I guess.
Anyone know what this bread is called?

How much fucking money did they pay him?
He doesn't actually believe what he's saying in the videos right?
....do you think he would....?
I would imagine he will be paid around a million dollars or so.
For that sort of money, most of 4chan would go on live TV and say that they love BBC up the arse.

Have any of you guys made coconut milk curry?
Is there anything that I should look out for? Any recipes I should follow?
My favorite curry.
>>7887455
If you're buying canned, make sure it's unsweetened. Some people like to use canned coconut cream but I find its slightly too sweet and doesn't lend the right texture compared to milk. Also if you're tending towards a more Indian style than try adding cashew, poppy seed, sesame seed, or even peanut cream/butter. Soak the seeds/nuts then grind to a fine paste for best results. Also coconut milk mellows out flavors so be generous with the spices. And remember to fry the ginger/garlic/onion along with any meat before adding the coconut milk. You want to seize everh opportunity to create a deeper flavor with a coconut based curry. Lastly add some sort of acid towards the end, and optionally finish with cilantro or the green end of a scallion

unsweetened for sure, and I'm definitely adding scallions to it as well.

Why don't my hashbrowns ever turn out crispy? what am I doing wrong?
Could be that the oil or pan is not hot enough but we can't tell you what you're doing wrong if you don't tell us what you're doing.
>>7887345
Overcrowding the pan. Hashbrowns need to be cooked in a layer of fat/oil. The potatoes need to be spread out thin. If you're using a small pan and just piling them in there in a stack, you're overcrowding and causing them to steam rather than fry.
Med/high heat using a fat with a high smoke point, 3-4 minutes on each side will do the trick. Less time if you're making a small portion.

About to go to Sonic for the first time.
What is good? Is it expensive? Should I eat at the car hop thing?
>>7887314
Get a sonic green apple or cherry nerd slush and a cheeseburger. Maybe some chili cheese tots. I always go there for the drinks mostly but the cheeseburgers are good. Post pics!
>>7887314
sort of expensive, for fast food. the drinks, shakes, malts, etc. are great.
if they have the frito chili pie, that's always great. chili dogs are great. hamburgers are a bit greasy, but pretty good. kind of depends on the restaurant. my hometown sonic has been here forever, one of the first in the state to open. the last five years it has sucked, veg all old and disgusting, until just the last couple of months with a new manager.
>Should I eat at the car hop thing?
You mean the little tables out front? Depends where you are. Always someone here doing it, but it's too fuckin' hot for me. I either take it home, back to the office or in the car with the A/C on.
>>7887314
Most of the food is meh tier. Get some kind of finger food (jalapeno poppers, fries, tots, etc), cherry limeade and a shake or something

How does /ck/ like their pork?
Rare with ketchup for me.
i dont think your supposed to eat pork rare
>>7887031
The US pork supply is safe. People overcooked pork all to shit because of fear of diseases, but those diseases aren't in our pork anymore, not in any appreciable numbers. The flavor and texture of pork done medium rare is sublime; grow a pair and realize that is the same difference in medium rare and well done as exist in beef.
>>7886808
marinated in garlic/orange, rubbed with paprika/peppercorn, cooked to medium-well while basting with spicy peach puree
I never go below medium, because I don't like the texture
cured cold-smoked pork is also god-tier
