I have $150 for food for the next month. How do I not die
>>7913697
no why
>>7913702
american why
>>7913686
I used to live off less than $100 per month. Buy chicken, rice, salsa, eggs, bread, peanut butter, ramen and whatever else you can afford.
It's pretty easy.
Bone head.
Just came across this guy: Alton Brown
I've watched a few episodes of his series "Good Eats" and I have to say that I like him.
I like the style of the show, I like his humor and his recipes are not only looking great but he also gives quite useful information about some of the chemistry happening while cooking.
What do you think about him?

I hope you get banned from this board. So tired of the shit posting.
Discuss.

agreed
Honestly I only eat blue rare family.
He's completely in the right.
Medium-rare is the most commonly eaten and socially acceptable level of doneness, and coming to someone's house and asking them to cook you something different than everyone else because you think you're a special snowflake is rude and poor etiquette.
>Girlfriend says she's cooking Tonkatsu for dinner tonight
>She cooks a pork schnitzel
Any other stories of dumb girlfriends?
My wife can't cook.
She comes from a 3rd world country where it's still normal for mama to stay at home, raise the kids, cook, clean, have dinner on the table for dad when he gets home.
her family can't even get their heads around the fact that men in first word countries know how to and can cook
If I don't come home after a long day at work and cook a meal for us then I will go hungry before I eat the slop she serves up
I still love her though
She loves my cooking and my cock too so whatevs
>>7917080
If you married me, I'd cook better and love your cock just the same
>>7917094
Yeah but he probably doesnt want a fat hairy manwife
You aren't a hipster faggot that likes Pepsi more than Coke, are you?
>>7908570
Nah, I'm cool.
I would prefer Pepsi if it didn't always go flat within 10 seconds of opening a can.
>>7908570
No but I like diet coke better than regular.
Food that you love but gives you the shits every time you eat it.
Rogan Josh.
Or the missus if she has a yeast infection or something.
Worth.

>laksa
>giving you the shits
End yourself before your terrible genes get passed onto the next unfortunate generation
>ask the deli guy for .5 pounds of turkey
>he cuts me .54 pounds and tries to package it like it's no big deal
>um.. i asked for .5 pounds
>he looks at me incredulously and takes off a couple slices before weighing it again
Does anyone else complain whenever the deli guy tries to sell you the excess? Do they get paid based on commission? I've never seen them go under my number. It's always over.
>>7910434
You are the cancer of deli.
>>7910434
You're either trolling or the biggest 'sperg on the whole damn board.
I have seen this behavior before. My local butcher has a customer who comes in 3-4 times a week and buys a NY strip steak weighing exactly 0.625 pounds. He insists that it is cut to that exact weight. And having served this guy for literally years, the butcher has gotten really good at eyeballing the weight. Alas, sometimes it takes some extra trimming. I've had to wait in line behind this fuckwit several times.
In Germany if you ask for 100g you get 100g
If you get 120g you say thanks and take it.
Stop beeing a dick and enjoy more meat
Why is Japan so obstinate about whale meat?
whales serve no purpose. they swim around and gulp down tons of fish and mess up the food chain. less whales = more edible fish.
>>7910966
Nice try Daitaro.
>>7910945
because they're terrible people that like eating raw animals.
What are the best sides for pizza?
A weight loss plan and exercise.
>>7909206
Garlic/cheese bread or mozzarella sticks.

Is it actually good or just a meme because of the bottle?

Anything Dan does is good.
Does anyone MUCH prefer salty and simple food?
Seriously, a pizza with just lots of
meat on is way better than shitty peppers and onions
I honestly think vegetables ruin food
I'll eat a bowl of lettuce but keep it out of a nice meaty cheese and ham sandwich
Shish-kebab? Keep it meat only, no peppers ruining it
>>7912284
>I am 2 years old
get off of fourchan.
You're fat.
Deny it all you want. You're fat.
>>7912289
>pretending to like onions and peppers so people think you're ''''cultured''''
lmao
>>7912296
I'm 5'11 170lb and run 30 miles a week
france isn't that cold, so why does it seem that every french dish is designed around cold times?
If I'm just ignorant, please post some french summer foods
>>7910131
okay, what did I say that was dumb?
>>7910125
>seems
It's easier to accurately represent a dish outside of its native land when that dish isn't completely dependent on local fresh ingredients picked moments ago at the peak of their seasonality
That's why passportless plebs think french food is only heavy fatty stuff like cassoulet
Flip your steak once like Gordon Ramsay recommends or flip it multiple times like Jamie Oliver recommends?
Pic related, I combined their faces for dramatic effect
whichever makes it juicier
served over fanta of course
>>7909391
ramsays cookery course says to flip it multiple times.
>>7909394
Then he's inconsistent as fuck with his advice
Although flipping once a minute is my own preference
Oatmeal?
Are you CRAZY?
More like oatsnack desu
>>7909336
I wish I liked oats a bit more. I wonder if I could replace cereal with them. they'd be chewy but less dense. I'll try it tomorrow.
/mlp/ pls go
Hell, even if it's worth getting sent into another dimension to get axed by some Plankton-looking cyclops, I'd still eat it nonetheless.
>>7907633
Ehhh...sun-dried tomatos, man.
