I don't really like her in a waifu way, but she reminds me of my mom, who's also asian. Her recipes are always good though and I even made a few of them with my sister.

I love the channel, however. Every recipe seems like it is: Green onion, garlic, soy sauce, chili, sesame oil and seeds plus whatever else.

OP here. Just going off of Alton Brown's recipe (http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/guacamole-recipe.html) but I'm subbing the jalapeño for serrano. Anything I should add or subtract?

Mash garlic (and chillies, if you want) with a little salt in the molcajete, then add ripe avocado and whip it all together with a spritz of lime juice, lemon juice or vinegar (in decreasing order of preference) and some cilantro leaves.

If you want authentic, just mince up some onion and whip that with the avocado etc, but don't mash it first. Personally, I just find the garlic version tastier.

Mexican food is best food, italian is pretty close. Yes I'm a beaner tacos and burritos al pastor from the Tacos Los Carnales truck by the Ross next to 10 freeway off ramp are orgasmic

Californian here. I've worked in some fantastic restaurants in San Francisco and LA and I've never met anyone in those places who could cook like the folks at mom and pop taquerias and food trucks. Good Mexican food is god tier.
