whats a weird food combination you like /ck/?
mines tacos and BBQ sauce
Mayo and french fries. The days when I have french fries, I sometimes get some mayo to dip them in. Though some might not think it is weird, I think it is. It just doesn't feel like it should go together so well.
>>7912777
I'm American and have eaten my french fries with mayo since I was a little kid. In many parts of Europe it's considered standard.
>>7913368
Ramsay would approve mayo on fries.
>>7912667
No
/thread
No seriously
The fact you had to ask.
>tfw get anxious and uneasy when someone else does the dishes
I'd rather do them myself.
>tfw dirty dishes sit on my kitchen bench for over a week
>>7912631
>you have to wash the dishes before the machine can wash the dishes
>tfw get angry when I see other people in the kitchen
I can't even be in there if someone else is cooking or something.
you ever try not salting or peppering a burger
and just make a simple cheese burger with 80/20 chuck and american cheese ?
lightly toasted sesame bun
no salt no pepper, no lettuce, tomato, pickles onions, ketchup, mayo or mustard
its fucking delcious
the cheese has enough salt btw
sounds bad
>>7912618
Yes I do this. Except I use real cheese instead of american.
>seasoning your beef still tastes better though
Don't season your meat and use American cheese, I promise it'll taste better.
How'd I do, /ck/?
>>7912495
perfect toppings for nice 'za
>>7912495
I used to have my steak well done too, now I see it for the dog food it is
Looks shit
>>7912495
Is that the Green Giant fire roasted corn/onion/red pepper mix?
hey /ck/ what do you think of my homemade garbage plate!!!!!!!!!
>>7912432
>296x394
Garb
>>7912432
Um... what is on that?
Can we talk about this shit
Now of course I'm no stranger to parmesan or cheap parmesan romano blends. But a recipe recently demanded pure romano and i bought it in chunk form for the first time.
Now I'm not trying to be cute or anything. But this cheese smells and tastes like nasty pussy. I threw it away as well as throwing away the pasta I made with it. Inedible.
Am I the only one? I also think popcorn smells exactly like piss and I can't stand being in the room with it
I fucking hate the smell of bacon cooking. Makes me gag.
>>7912371
>But this cheese smells and tastes like nasty pussy.
Think about where you're posting and try to use more relate-able terms.
>>7912371
Ahhh, Kitchen de Americano
>>7912392
>I fucking hate the smell of bacon cooking. Makes me gag.
what the fuck man. are you human?
And I related it exactly the way I could-- it was not *similar* to that taste/smell, it was THE exact smell of a hypothetical poorly washed vagina from my past.
Anyone else feel like the overall quality of frozen pizza has been on a recent decline?
Its always been that bad. You were just a kid and pizza was pizza.
That and the additives and cost cutting stuff
>>7912327
What additives.......
>>7912307
No, digiorno still better than any delivery pizza or any other frozen pizza, and still 7 dollars.
we've been over this over and over. a regular digiorno cheese kicks any delivery in the nuts hard enough to make papa john throw up from his tower.
not even a fair contest if you use one of the new higher quality ones
About to try this meme shit lads, preparing my anus
Current ratings
Chocolate Milk: 9.5/10
Vanilla Milk: 8.5/10
Caramel Milk: 7.5/10
Chocolate Ice Cream: 10/10
Hokey Pokey Ice Cream: 7/10
Okay actually what the fuck
First taste is definitely what I expected - Turkish Delight, but fucking hell there are some weird aftertastes going on.
Love the edible pedals meme too
There's something in the aftertaste that so weirdly reminds me of cheap McDonald's burgers at 2am. It's surreal. First bit it tastes incredibly rose but my breath smells like I've just eaten a cheeseburger
It's odd but can't say it's incredible, currently this is the weakest of their ice creams.
It's pretty refreshing and that aftertaste sure is unique but can't say it's as mindblowing as the chocolate or as oddly revolutionary as the Hokey Pokey. The aftertaste is definitely reminiscent of the gherkins that Maccas put in their burgers, it's weird as fuck.
6.5/10
Like the Caramel Milk, I'd recommend people try it just to taste it but I doubt many would want to come back to it. Still, they are once again raising the bar of the level of supermarket ice creams once again with the utter pretentiousness of this release. Truly culinary pioneers of our time, /ck/.
http://inhabitat.com/how-corn-sweat-is-making-this-weeks-heat-wave-even-worse/
"Corn sweat" the evaporation of corn moisture is making the rise of heat in the US worse.
Corn is a food used in everything, Corn syrup and Fructose syrup are linked to obesity, heart disease, and other illnesses.
http://drhyman.com/blog/2011/05/13/5-reasons-high-fructose-corn-syrup-will-kill-you/
soda is well known for being a big issue on human health, its second highest ingredient: High Fructose Corn Syrup.
putting it into your body is to lend the devil into your body. a life without it is easy.
Literally everything causes obesity, literally everything causes cancer, we cannot stop it, and to pretend that we can is just an exercise in stupidity. Enjoy your life for it's meager length to it's fullest. If that means becoming a human experiment on how much of your blood and water you can replace with HFCS, I say go for it.
also the temperature is totally normal for summertime in AZ. only like 80 here in flagstaff.
Also let me know when you find another product that can create one tenth of the shit corn can, at the same price to grow, year round.
>>7912068
I can't and that is a problem.
I would rather starve than depend on corn\
teas, fruits, wheat breads, meats are my diet
>corn sweat
What's your favorite sippin' red?
-or-
It's the 80s, and you're a yuppie at a ski lodge in Killington, Vermont. What do you have with your cheese and crackers?
>>7911986
Cheap Merlot such as barefoot. Tastes the same as a 20 buck bottle and tastes great in general. That or moscato. I like a sweet wine with salty foods
>>7912025
That's what my parents were doing in the 80s. Skiian and dranks.
>>7911986
Fuck you, I live in Vermont.
Lays bringing 4 international flavors near you for a limited time for the Olympics. Which one you gettin?
For me it's the chicken. The best chip flavor.
I'll try each of them, though I'm pretty sure the tzatziki will likely taste of dickpimples.
>>7911644
Tje tzatkiki will taste terrible per the Gyro flavor last year.
I'll try the other three, though.
>>7911644
>try the inspired flavors last summer
>all taste like cheese + sour cream and chives, or complete ass
No thanks.
Hey guys, I went to Aldi to get some burger stuff and I ended up with way too much ground beef left over. I was thinking about experimenting with steak tartare. Does anyone have any good methods that aren't the usual Tabasco, egg, capers, etc?
>>7911602
>steak tartar with ground beef from Aldi
>>7911602
if your ground beef is oxidated at all (turning brown or dull in color from sitting in your fridge) don't do this. Eating ground beef can be a great experiance raw but you don't want to wait. you want the meat to be bright red, fresh, and not sitting in your fridge for three days
Don't. Steak tartare is the opposite of culture. Humans discovered fire so we wouldn't have to eat that dog shit any longer. Make a burger with an egg on it and I guarantee it will be better. Eating raw meat is both disgusting and pure pretention.
pic semi-related, I get mine from a tow truck guy who raises hens. Noticed he sold them out of his office when I had my car towed about 3 years ago. Ever since I've stopped by for 2 dozen every few weeks.
>>7911579
Cool stroy bro.
My fav bit was when you talked about the eggs.
Would you tell it again but with more detail?
>>7911625
>I hope you enjoyed my story too, anon
Not enough eggs senpai
>>7911579
I live in a farm area so I got chickens and they give me lots of eggs. If mine didn't put any that day I could just drive a few blocks over and buy them fresh by the dozen off some old guys ranch
Hopefully I'll spent a year in England to do an MSc.
I don't care about brexit or racism, I only want to know if british food is really that bad or if it's just boring and plain.
Should I eat curry and kebab instead fish and chips for every single meal?
Is it difficult or expensive to get some decent ingredients to cook anything else?
>>7911532
Why not just try the food and see what you like instead of trying to preemptively decide what you're going to eat for the whole year?
>>7911532
>I only want to know if british food is really that bad
You'll have to look very hard to find anywhere selling the kind of food you're thinking of.
>Should I eat curry and kebab instead fish and chips for every single meal?
You don't plan to cook a single meal for a whole year?
>Is it difficult or expensive to get some decent ingredients to cook anything else?
Supermarkets carry a very comprehensive range (except morrisons, which is shit)
>>7911543
I'm just curious
