I cook pasta in bulk for a pizza restaurant and I've always rinsed it immediately once it reaches desired doneness, so that it doesn't get too much more done
I remember once I wasn't that thorough rinsing macaroni and I could swear it got pretty cooked sitting there
I keep reading lately that it shouldn't be rinsed because it removes the starch, so what SHOULD I do?
After rinsing it, I portion it into ziplock bags and freeze it and then we run water in it to thaw it to order.
Also my tooth hurts badly and I'm ready to eat this whole tube of anbesol

Step one is to gather your ingredients. Most of you will probably have to go shopping for these, but they're with the money. In fact, they'll be cheaper in the long term than chicken nuggets, (and ramen, if you count the hospital bills).
1)Bread. I recommend wheat, because white bread is for heathens.
2)Peanut butter. Crunchy or creamy is fine. Don't waste your money on almond butter or anything else. Your tongue will thank me later.
3) Jelly/Jam/Preserves. Don't skimp on this one. That plastic-squirt-bottle trash will make you sick and if you throw up, that's precious food wasted.

Find a knife. If your roommates (assuming you have the socialization skills necessary to share an apartment) are like mine, you might have to do some searching or cleaning. Luckily, there was one in the drawer so I didn't have to clean up after my roommate.

Does anyone else hate thousand island dressing?
I'm not trying to be edgy, but it's just so horrible. What's that very distinct flavor in it?The thing about it for me is it doesn't taste bad in the same way other foods I dislike taste - it tastes like something I shouldn't be eating. Every time I've ate something with it it just felt like I'm eating something that's gonna harm me, like it shouldn't be in my mouth. I keep reminding myself "I'm gonna be fine, it's not poisonous, it just has a weird taste" and it's all from that very distinct flavor.
What the fuck is that flavor? It messes with my mind and it's so strong.

I cooked breakfast with a ceramic frying pan today and it was one of the most pleasant cooking experiences of my life. The potatoes developed a perfect crust, the eggs slid off the pan and maintained perfect composure, and it cleaned easier than any dish like it.
However, I just get this nagging feeling that it's "too good", like we are going to be reading health reports in 20 years citing ceramic cookware as the catalyst for some terrible chemical exposure or something. After some cursory research, I saw some dubious web pages which indicated ceramic pans acquired outside of the us may emit cadmium and lead, but mine is cadmium free (according to packaging) and us bought, so presumably it's passed some degree of fda regulation.
Am I being paranoid? Do ceramic pans deserve a vaunted status as the future of frying technology?
