Yes they are. They're good with greek yogurt.
>>
i love freshly opened cornflakes with ice cold milk. no sweeter, fruit, or any other extras.

just that toasted corn flavor by itself is tasty.

Have a local fantastic Chinese food place about five minutes away that order from ALL THE TIME.

They know me and last time I went something happened where they wouldn't accept my card. She let me go without paying. I want more food from there but don't want to pay the $9 I owe for the meal three weeks ago.

Not sure what to eat now.

Döppekuchen potato flan. An Eifel speciality.

http://www.germany.travel/en/towns-cities-culture/traditions-and-customs/food-and-drink/doeppekuchen-potato-flan.html

I've recently made one and took some pictures. I'm from germany (Eifel area in Rhineland-Palatinate which is famous for its local cuisine Döppekooche)

It's famous because it is a "Arme_Leute_essen" (english: poorfag meal) and we traditionally eat it at St. Martin'S Day.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Martin%27s_Day
scroll down to germany if you want to know more, it's always good to know some cultural background and traditions.

So let's start...

I'll use the metric system because I'm familiar with it, all temperatures are in °C

All we need to make one is:

tools:
-Roaster
-Grater
-knife
That's the basic stuff you'll need

ingredients
-Potatoes (4 to 6 kg, depends on how big your roaster is)
-Onions (about 2 kg. depends on your taste)
-smoked pork belly (about 0,5 kg)
-Mettwurst sausages (about 1 kg)
-Bacon (You could also replace the whole meat with it)
-some eggs (as much as you want, I didn't use them this time)
-black pepper, white pepper and grated nutmeg
-bread crumbs (I used toast which I've dried in the oven because I don't got something better)
-milk (enough to soften the bread crumbs)
-apple puree (only if you like it, it's serverd together with the finished dish)

Im in dire need of help. Im trying to incoporate egg whites into my diet but i cannot stand the texture. I added jalapeno powdr, taco seasoning, and hot sauce but i nearly threw up. how do i make them bearable /ck/?
14 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
You don't.

Why are you trying to force yourself to eat something you don't like?
>>
what I do is toast some bread with some Swiss cheese on it. then in a bowl I mic together a dash of salt, chili flakes, bit of pepper and garlic powder until it get frothy. then I thinly slice some spinach and add that too. and here the important part make sure your pan in already heated to about medium low and then pour the egg whites on and rotates your pan so they're in a thin even circular shape. once they done cooking fold them into a square to match your toast. another thing you can do is an egg white shake, but those are expensive.
>>
i dunno maybe blend some shit with eggs or mix it with some sweet stuff? If you can't do that just chug that shit down

1. Pre-heat the oven to 350F

Pour the apple cider in a pot and boil for 15-20 minutes until reduced and syrupy.

>>
Hell no. I waste about 1/4 of most shrimp because I suck at pulling them off too.
>>
>>8147900
You just have to use your hands to remove the shell...

Remove the head, break the shell and pull the shrimp out of its tail. Not that hard

Nothing, and I mean nothing, beats making a homemade apple pie. Make your own pie and you will never, never be satisfied with Table Talk every again. (Yeah, Table Talk isn't bad. But after a homemade pie, "isn't bad" doesn't cut it.)
